 Coolness: 166565 | Gamos- you're joking right? That is the original painting. Believe it or not, it travels to different locations because Julien is a professional deco artist.
That painting was in peterborough because Julien was payed to come to peterborough and set up what is supposed to be his unique artwork. That's one of the issues with azteksoul copying his work- it's cutting into his livilihood basically. They've gone beyond inspiration, if they wanted his painting they should have asked and/or traded/contributed/paid him something. as similar as the paintings are, it's not a forgery... and i highly doubt its a copyrighted image. i dealt with copyrighted artwork for the past 8 years and that wouldn't hold up in court for a second. and in all honesty... i'm sure if someone did a little research you'd probably uncover a lot more art dating back thousands of years that also looks very similar. if the ancient azteks had copyrighted their shit all those goa kids would be fucked. anyway... there is hardly real cash involved. and the painting in question was painted on somebody bedsheets and hung at some squat party under the canal. it's hardly hanging in the louvre... and was never commercially printed. if it was indeed inspired by that painting the dude should take it as a compliment and keep doin' his thing. my 2 cents. |

 Coolness: 33065 | wow you guys took that way to far on the stupid side,im not happy about it,but I got a lots of time to waste on other thing then to sue little kids for that matter.I just want make a point that its not really nice to copy anyone art specialy if its for a deco crew that is advertising themself as a deco crew,and trowing party.and what ever you guys are arguing about this is copy the guys even admit it to me.its the same design (badly done) without the blue filling around,but he copied line for line the design in the middle.I dont mind people INSPIRING themself from me,it is flattering.I did it,but I made the idea mine. everyone inspired themself from somewhere or someone,thats more then fine.but this is a copy, and those guys advertise themself as deco crew steeling my desing.Im shure anyone that is doing music dosent enjoy having some other musician taking there song,maybe take a lead off,keep the same kick, bass line, structure and atmospheric sound and release it badly mastered under is name.that is basicly what happend, the same desing,without the filling around and badly painted and expose at a party.If you guys want to keep doing deco and party you should think and invent your own design and try to push to make thing go further not copie. thats is the point.
