| actually it happens all the time with trance parties and festival since the psychedelic artists art gets printed on flyers without asking...we had a case in Montreal where a european artist was VERY VER Y pissed off at someone who used one of his paintings on the front of his flyer..its just not something you do...I guess you dont make art or music and know the feeling |

| If the second artist makes no money from it, you can't bitch about it. Especially when it's not a reproduction but a terribly shitty version of it.
Besides, it's not like your friend Julien own the rights to trance circles with eyes and trippy quotation marks. It might suck, for the artist but there's nothing he can do about it. He should be glad that someone liked his art enough to make a version of it.
And before you start the "you don't do art, so you don't understand"... well, yes, many of us actually do some sort of art. And unless someone rips off my art and SELLS it, I won't do shit about it. |
