My problem is this: If bill 101 applied to the internet, [ rave.ca ] would be forced to put everything in french and make sure the text is 2x bigger.

Don't you think that sort of thing should be left up to the owner or the business?
I'm feeling pompous right now..

That's an exaggeration and you know it.

And yes, EVENTUALLY, I'll make it a point to help Noah properly translate the site. I apologize, I had some downtime last week and I should've used it more efficiently.

I won't argue that the law's application isn't flawed, but I do appreciate its intent, CONSIDERING French's official status in Quebec.

Merci.
I'm feeling alive n' learned :) right now..

How is that an exaggeration? Bill 101 states that french must be everywhere and it must be 2x bigger than the English.. I'm not joking.

Which makes us? Grey, thank you.

P.S: We're not american, there's no A in grey.

From wiki, 'cuz I'm lazy, I wanna shower and have a beer at Passeport:

"Product labels, their instructions, manuals, warranty certificates as well as restaurant menus and wine lists must be in the official language. Other languages may be used, provided the official language has greater prominence."

i think that we should eliminate bill 101's 'sign' elements

but the elements that deal with schools are fair, it's not a violation of anyones rights in anyway to say immigrants to quebec should send their kids to french schools, which is the official language, if immigrants want to send their kids to school in any othe language they should pay for it themselves.

a business' answering machine or something should have to be in french at the very least and any other language that the owner wants.

advertisment should be in any language the person who pays for it decides

writting on packaging of things sold in the province should be in french and any other language the maker decides, french need not be more prominent
I'm feeling surly right now..

I'm pretty sure the rule is "50% bigger" ... but whatever

Anyway, do you really want to be calling french fries "freedom fries"? That's where racism toward the french lead the amercians...c'est crissement pas fort. En tout cas, je mange une poutine en c'moment, alors... ...tabarfuck que c'est bon :P

Yeah Neo, what the hell do you want him to say now?? he made it quite clear that arguing with you was as productive as calling the wall an idiot and expecting it to fight back.

and whats the problem with Bill 101 ?? it's about the only thing that saved our province from the english world. nothing wrong with that as it was part of quebec's heritage to have french as #1 !!!
I'm feeling flirt-city right now..
