 Coolness: 208765 | First of all, 1619 has been throwing parties for a while, but because it was occupied by mostly psy-trancers, they were psy-trance parties. And I'd just like to say that it's not supposed to be a place for raves, it's a place where ppl live and throw parties sometimes. And btw everyone, for the project PLUR thing, we've raised about half of what we need to raise to open a loft.  Coolness: 685575 | 1619 had psytrance parties? Wow, that's way diffrent than what they used to be... Granted, when Hustla was living there any time there was a party there was always a jungle/hiphop/reggea room.. Man those were some of the best parties..
Just because one party was there that was run off a set of computer speakers doesn't make the place a bad venue, it just means that there was one shitty party there run by noobs who didn't even get turntables for the DJs. For that one party, there have been probably hundreds of much, much better parties there run by people who know how to throw a party. |

| Coolness: 153040 | Cyberloft, Project PLUR (smaller room) and then what? Several parties are planned by the same and other emerging promoters within the upcoming months. Where is this mediocrity going to lead us? It just seems like some of these promoters need to set their priorities and moral compass straight.
I'm all for them trying to finance one of the bigger rooms in the building! But dragging us out under false pretexts to finance their project, that's a whole new different ball game. |

After almost 1000 views, why isn't Marc talking to us anyhow? |

Are u talking about in the upstairs room dude, cuz the speakers are bigger than your fist. And again, it was a BENEFIT party!!! It was held to raise money for a purpose, and that's what any profit is going towards. Marc didn't decide to say he was throwing a benifit party to lie and keep the money for himself. Oh, and btw, PLENTY of ppl have told me that they really enjoyed the party. It may not have really been a rave, but so what? |
