 Coolness: 42890 | herm...maybe I need help but I kinda take the idea of addiction a little lightly...and example of such is talking to my doctor the other day (she just happens to constantly write me prescriptions for pills that will probably be used in the party scene 5 years from now when they get pulled off the market cuz weird health problems and side effects start popping up)
Anyway she said "I can't think of any doctor that would condone the use of drugs" and of course, me being the jerk I am said "you know, except for pharmaceutical drugs...wait a minute...." Anyway, I find it hard to take "illegal drug" addiction seriously when I have to gobble down a rainbow of un-cut chemical mish mash of "medication" with breakfast each day..... what do you think? |

| Coolness: 685550 | I think it's more a question of purity than anything. The parmaceutical drugs you're getting are a hell of a lot better/safer than, say, speed made with draino, iodine, nasal spray and a pot of coffee.
Anything you get "illegaly" was 100% NOT made in a 100% "pure" and sterile environment and is deffinitley of questionable purity, unless we're talking you getting your own vial of K and cooking it yourself. Weed is about the only thing that I'd trust most of the time, but at that, it's much better to be getting it from a reliable source than from, say, berri or some random rasta you meet at 3:30am while you're stumbling out of saphir. And when it comes to drug purity, all it takes is a tiny bit to turn, say, MDMA, into something that in large doses (more than 1 or 2 pills) could be very poisonous. And that's not even taking into account that if you get "E" as a pressed pill, then it's 100% mixed with something else, 'cause MDMA doesn't press into pills. |

A lot of people in school used to take it when they would need to study for exams. They would goto Jean Coutu and claim that they were feeling a little sick and they needed something to keep them going... And just like that for 50 cents a pill they would give you up to 3-5 of them.
This was good stuff and extremely clean. I think by banning the stuff they have caused people who want to stay up to do worse substances. Sometimes it's not good to just ban everything left right and center because people will want alternatives and those alternatives are not always better for you and in most cases are not. |

But the dosages in the tablets are much smaller than what you need to keep you up (because it's marketed as a decongestant). So just much down 4 of them. The effect is similar to taking a jump funkpill. It's not going to give you an endless supply of energy to burn; but it's much more effective than caffeine at keeping you alert. |
