 Coolness: 158330 | Death Proof was long and boring. :( I mean, it was a bad Tarantino movie. Howeverm it was saved due to two things:
1- Kurt Russel is God. 2- The ending. Anarkoid got REALLY pissed off by the ending but I thought it was the best ever. Planet Terror, now... that was like staring at the face of Chuck Norris. Just awesome. |

 Coolness: 685685 | Yeah Death Proof was shit. The first half of the movie had zero relevance to the second, other than establishing that Kurt Russel is a fucking psycho. If you're going to spend 40 minutes developing characters, don't kill them all and replace them half way through the movie with NEW characters you want to develop! The whole point of character development (in horror movies at least) is so that you feel connected and like the people that are getting killed; makes it more horrific if you can identify with them and see them as friends or nice people that you'd like.. But by the 2nd half of the movie I just stopped giving a shit about what these people are like and I wanted to see some fucking action!
Planet Terror though was like the best zombie movie to come out in ages.. I can't wait for the DVD to finally come out.. |
