then gave up being in a band he expressed later that it didn't feel right anymore to walk through the door with his instruments for practices on weekend when they had to get ready for a gig both my parents don't know what to do with themselves anymore now that I, and my sister just recently, moved out cause their lives revolved around our household and my upbringing that part kind of makes me sad i'm not trying to brag or anything although i'm living a hedonistic (IMO) lifestyle these people are my role model as parents so I can't find it acceptable for any parent to put themselves before their kids personally I'm worried about being able to ingrain the same teachings and be a good guide to my children is i ever have some don't forget that your children are going to be something like a self-evolving extension of your own image so you have to learn to take care of yourself first if you want to put these people in favor of being the best that they can be |
