Can anyone tell me how to beat the 6th boss? (its like a glowing eye in the right of the screen and things that come out of tunnels from south and north). I've been stuck at that boss for 20 yrs not knowing where to shoot. And the big issue with r-type is you only get one life, cuz when you die, you lose all your weaponry and speed and therefor its impossible to survive (If you die after level 4, you are pretty much fucked) |

| Coolness: 43055 | I did and it was no help. (I messed up previous post, its boss #7 that i cant beat)
It says shoot the boss, thats what i do, doesnt appear to do any damage :(. On the other hand, i found out there was a secret level. |
