How is having two b2b parties with similar music helping anyone let alone the scene... In other words, by having two similar parties close to each other you're not only condemning yourself to possible monetary loss but also the other promoter as well. By a simple act of consideration, you ask (or notify) the promoter if he doesn't mind you getting the second booking. Albeit, you ain't getting payed shit for the first one so... fuck that, do what you wanna do. If they wanna have any kind of "exclusivity" over you, tell them to crack open their wallets and pay you. But since I know you Carl, I know you're only starting out and I also know that you don't believe that you're in a position to ask for money right away... which brings us to the bigger question: why should any of the promoters care!
