| tested, as in tested games? 'cause that's absolutely the worst way to evaluate a system, you're getting copies of unfinnished games and looking for bugs in the code, so obviously they aren't going to be as good as the final release. The DS lite on the other hand have a really bad habit of hinges breaking, cracks in the cases that make the buttons unuseable, and that's been an issue since less than a week after they were released. |

I got 2 games for it for 1.99 each... That just made me smile!

| i think that everything from nintendo is far better for what it has to offer but maybe its cause im one of those people who prefer quality to quantity. Playstation is like bling bling, gotta beat xbox and soder some computer parts together and Nintendo is like.. one step at a time, lets make this shit solid, cost efficient and futuristically driven(aka "gay"). Unfortunately bling bling sells better. | Yeah, nintendo makes solid products. And if, say, the DS Lite had a problem where the hinges crack in under a week, they surely wouldn't ignore the problem or do things like claim that it's only less than 0.02 percent of them as opposed to 14% that have been cracking. And it certainly wouldn't take them more than 3 months to acknowledge the problem and offer free repairs.
And yeah, nintendo are totally revolutionising all the time. I mean, they were totally the first to use CD technology for their games instead of sticking to the antique cartridge format which cost more money. |

Just need to wait for the holidays price wars to start and its win win for consumers.
