Haha, I guess I can't really tell, everytime I smoked my mouth got so dehydrated that i had to drink 20 glasses of water, which didn't even do anything, then when I tried to sleep I kept feeling like I was gonna swallow my tongue so drank more water, still dehydrated, badtripped I was gonna choke and die so didn't wanna allow myself to sleep, drank some more, just when I'm about to pass out, fucking shit I gotta pee, get up, and the cycle goes on and on and on...

that's with like, not even half a joint haha. Not for me, I'll stick to my cinnamon sticks for cravings. god i sound like a fucking hippie...

I don't regret anything as it opened up my mind to the world a lot more, but if I could go back, I'd limit it to one dose of each, just to know what it's like.

I don't regret anything, it made me who I am now, made me appreciate life more but I have to say drugs really fucked with me.
My mind, my body. I'm sure my memory or vision would be better if I didn't do drugs.. but I don't think it effected to much.
Drugs for sure did something emotionally to me, I didn't do that much compared to others but more then enough, and got stuck in this endless void.
It was more the atmosphere of things when I did drugs with people and when things got hectic, that was pretty bad.. or seeing the things I did when I was 16, that no one should see or experience.
Just more sad really hanging with people during those times and then the friendships eventually fade or get lost, cause either you get better and fade away or they get worse and fade away.

I would rather experience younger then experience now at 20. Like I said though going through these things from about 16-19 made me who I am now, memories are painful though but they make you alive.
Looking back I wouldn't change a thing, but wouldn't want my child to experience that life that I had.
I won't lie though, I'll still do drugs once every few months. I guess it is too bad but it is one of those things no matter what I seen or experience ill still do it, because I want to.
Won't forever (hope not) but at 20 years old, yes Ill do them rarely now but Ill still do them. Except for meth, would never want to do that again.

You don't need to be young to have drugs fuck you up. Up untill I was 21-22, I think I'd maybe smoked a total of 3 joints in my life and then dove into pills and K with an almost religious zeal in an effort to cope with how shitty I've always felt my life to be. In an attempt to distance myself from my past, all I've managed to do is fuck up my future. For the main 5 months that I got heavily into drugs (the period that ended with Cloud 6), I was easily taking anywhere from 10-15 pills a week.

I'd suggest that if anyone really wants to do drugs, to remember not to abuse them, because that will really fuck you up. As is I've got a ton of anxiety problems and just in general have a really bad state of mind. It's like being on the emotional down from a party weekend, but every day. Hell, I still get occasional hallucinations or little visual distortions that I know I can attribute to that first time I did shrooms at Under the Tunnel, and that's been quite long enough for them to wear off.

plus facile d'expliquer ca en anglais;

When you're a teen (or a woman on the pill) you have hormones being released by your body to grow. This affects everything from your height/weight to your sperm/ovum production to things like your thyroid's operation, how your immune system works, etc..

By adding in a toxic substance (drugs, tobbaco, alcohol) while you're a teen, it's like adding in something to a recipie before you stick it in the oven to cook. It infuses itself with your system and causes all sorts of problems. You may not get them NOW, but in the long-term things in your body don't function the way they're supposed to. Sure you could do a whole bunch of drugs when you're a teen and then quit and think you'll be fine, only to discover that 10 or 20 years from now you've got hormonal imbalances, gland problems, a weak immune system, shit like that.

When you dump toxic waste into a stream that is growing to be a river, you poison the soil a lot more than if you would dump it into a huge river, untill the earth itself is dangerous and incapable of sustaining life.

although i will agree that excess drugs at young age is not necesarily the best thing, it's effects are chemical rather than genetic...

I guess then that the whole thing with ovarian cancer in women being increased if they smoke while teenagers or on the pill SPECIFICALLY because the hormones that are going to those areas of the body are "tainted" with the shit running through your stream has absolutely no basis and couldn't POSSIBLY happen to any other part of the body.

well the chemical effects of drugs can be passed on to a child, that's how you end up with crack babies and stuff, the baby is born with the mother's addiction. Same with smoking and drinking related diseases occuring in the child due to the parent's habbits.

for the most part what you are saying breaks basic laws of genetics, i don't think it is totally wrong that some things might effect genetic structure, but if that was the case on a large scale level then alot of classical genetics would need revision...

i've heard about the smoking thing like the children of smokers tend to have a genetic disposition to getting colds...
