The US government does not give a fuck about the people, its all self gain. Like Iraq; do you think its fair for the US to have nuclear power but not let anyone else have them, only allies? For US, Iraq with nuclear weapons is a threat, but don’t you think that after Hiroshima and Nagasaki USA with nuclear power is bigger of a threat. Now the fuckers are going to star a war? FUCK

Another thing is Venezuela
Venezuela right now is a fucked up country. The country is divided in two; the people that like the president and the people that know the president is a dictator. If this was the only thing happening believe me that the US would have been digging that country and would have get rid of the socialist president. But you know why the US hasn’t? Because then they will be fucked. Oil from Middle East will stop when the US starts war with Iraq. And the only other source for oil is Venezuela, so they can’t be fighting in two places where they get the oil.

Its all self gain, the USA really wants to control the fucking world and no one cares because they are “the good guys”

-the only Bush I trust is mi own-

say NO to war

the new war is one of public opinion....

example: $pooky has a great cd collection that i want. I know that if i just go beat him up and take it, everyone will kick my ass. But if i can convince them that he deserves a beating, i can do it (even get them to help),stroll in and take his cds....giving a couple to those who helped me the most of course. It's all about image....

What started out as "let's get Bin Laden" has turned into "let's get all terrorists" which became "let's get Saddam again" which is now "let's go after anyone we can convince the world as being bad"

I hope Bush doesn't start eyeballing our clean water, clean air, forests and other natural resources.....

Oh....$pooky...sorry to use you as an example...it had to be somebody though :)

in a land based war....China would stomp the us into a bloody pulp.....

i read that if their troops started walking across the ocean, the lead troops would be on US soil and the tail would still be in China

hi

A political discussion, not started by me. well, lets see now!

#1) Iraq has violated UN regulations by barring UN inspectors out of their country. Considering that Iraq was, during the Gulf War, producing chemical and biological weapons en masse, it was safe to assume that Iraq was capable of doing it again, since it is still under the same leader. This of course was happening during George Bush's reign of the US. It's pretty obvious why the US got involved in Iraq in the first place, to make sure that Kuwaiti's oil doesn't fall into an anti-american's controll. But now, this is not the case. Now that Iraq is complying with UN regulations again, though very unwillingly, the US is losing reason to attack Iraq. But wait, there is one. Personal vendetta. Saddam Hussein tried to kill his "daddy" as the president so put it. And of course, there is also the matter of oil, and it's revenues that will fund the american war machine, which america desperately needs considering its poor economic state. This of course will be covered up under the cloak of "terrorism" and "weapons of mass destruction", which the US is guilty of both I might add (remember folks, the US is the ONLY country to have used nukes in wartime!).

#2) The US wont attack North Korea because the US has already lost the popularity contest with Iraq, and if it launches a war against North Korea, it will become a very hated country both with civilians and politicians. Also, the US probally doesn't have the resources it needs to fight Iraq, terrorists, and North Korea, all at the same time. The US may claim it can, but it definately can't, otherwise there would be a troop buildup in South Korea already.

#3) Japan aren't allies with North Korea, far from it infact. Russia & China are however because communists always have tendancy of sticking together.

Now this is why politics and ravewave don't mix.

whatever iraq has done, is doing and will do isn't REALLY in question.
the states are waging a war greater then the term TERRORIST can encompass.
they are starting a war to keep the tradition of the american battlefield alive and well.
the rest is just details.
we are all casualties and my opinion, yout opinion, any opposing or controversial opinion really, doesn't matter to those who hold the nuclear weapons.

Everyone points fingers at the US for having nukes

But so does Pakistan and India and they are in a much better position to use them against each other, which would throw most of Asia into hell and severely disrupting the global economy, and effectively throw the rest of the world into an economic nightmare.

Goes along GREAT with.

"for those who care and/or oppose the war on iraq

The "little" people don't matter to the politicians. Sooner or later, all you fucking morons that insist it does will learn that if you want to change the system, the only way to do so is if you are IN the system. Stop going to those rallies. Stop rebelling. Stop putting stickers everywhere. Go to school. Go to law school. Major in political law of some sort. But for fuck sakes, stop bitching and whining because it won't do SHIT.

bitching and whining wont change anything, but nothing wrong with healthy debate.

Besides, the hippy revolution certainly changed things around in the US.

And for how long did those "changes" last? Seems to me the US is still just as war-hungry, if not MORE so than ever before. If anything, they've learned that they have to do their best to keep it out of the public eye.

void:i wasm't pointing fingers at the us but at all countries with nukes. i would have specified if i was putting all the blame on the USA.

and spooky, protesting may not have a huge positive effect but it at least shows that there is opposition.
if you think that it is more beneficial to sit back and watch the show then you do that. but i refuse to go down with out a fight.
