Yeah by the way, bush will probably get off without too much blame, cause he's gonna blame FEMA.. he's also gonna have to find a way to destroy every piece of evidence that FEMA has been sending them proposals for YEARS about the new orleans levees, and they were always refused. Each time they made a new plan on how to fix the levees and each time they made it cheaper. Bush's excuse for not fixing it is that the people of new orleans don't generate enough income to support that. They knew the levees couldn't handle anythign more then a category 3 hurricane, cheney said 4 or something but I read the reports and it is definitely 3. Every su mmer a hurricane of category 3 or more passes by the area, according to FEMA (beforethis incident) the probability of new Orleans not getting struck by a hurricane EVER was 0, and so was the probability of it not being a total and complete disaster. FEMA wasn't the only one either, you can find a billion articles dating far back about this, and they all spell out what just happened to the T. People have been angry about this for a long time. If Mr.Bush had even bothered to read a single proposal he would have been fully expecting this to happen within the next ten years. Nothing weas cheap enough for him though, so be it. There was no "probably`" or "maybe", they KNEW. They just didn't know when. |
