new orleans will never be the same :(

i can't imagine this happening to our city. everything we know would be gone, our belongings, our homes, our neighbourhood. it's the end of these people's lives as they knew it. most people are going to have to start from scratch.

Well.. It'll always be new orleans..

Yea, New orleans is below sea level and its surrounded by lakes and rivers so the water has nowhere to go.
The roof of the stadium even blew off and theres no electricity or water there.
On sunday they said the strength of the hurricane was going to be so powerful it could even knock over sky scrapers.. Scary stuff.

the thing is no insurance company will want to do business with an area that can get wiped out by a flood.. That's what is going to really wreck the place.

Does that mean the people in the stadium are dead? That was one of the places they put people in to be safe :(

well since the issurance companies are gonna pay for a lot of the damages, they will rebuild, and not only that but the rebuilding process will help their economy. hah. :P

naw, the roof is still there put parts ripped off. like the majority of the first layer of the roof is missing and the wood underneath is exposed.

Armed groups of roaming men now controll the non submergerd streetes of New Orleans. Some have looted guns and are moving as militias.

Martial Law declared in 4 states.

A total evacuation has been declared for the surrounding areas.

The trys to plug up the ruptured levees has failed. NO flood rising has not yet stopped.
