BEWARE ONCE-LEGAL POT SMOKERS

The people of all economic standings, religions, race, gender and of
voting ages voted. A bill was passed. People met with doctors, paid
fees, signed forms, registered with the state and followed all
required protocols. Finally, they could choose to avoid the highly
addictive, extremely expensive prescription medications (created in
labs, chemically enhanced - with proven side effects as severe as
death) and choose a more natural and safer relief for their pain.

Because of the moronic, in-your-face actions of the few, the desires
and needs of the many, the democratic majority, are stripped away.
Their "handlers" don't believe they were smart enough to understand
what they voted for. Too many people making a profit (like the drug
companies don't?). Instead of making medical marijuana a "nonprofit"
business, and nearly impossible to get - legally, shouldn't they work
on making the entire prescription drug business more affordable and
the drugs safer? If, that is, your health and safety is truly their concern.

I wonder ... while waiting for their legal allotment of pot to grow,
mature, and dry, what do these people do? Risk the extremely
dangerous side effects of prescription meds? Or just suffer through
months of excruciating pain. Isn't that what they're trying to avoid
in the first place?

I'm also concerned with the fact that local, state, and federal
agencies know who you are. You have risked putting yourself on a
government watch list. Yea Patriot Act. Many law-abiding citizens may
now become felons. They can monitor and watch you on a daily basis -
who you associate with, who your family members' friends are,
everywhere you go, everything you do, how you spend your money - and
how much. Oh, they say they won't - but, now they know you.
