| Description: | Love Language brings the spirit of Mexico City’s celebrated Café de Nadie to Moondog for an evening of adventurous selections and deep musical exploration. A resident of the renowned listening bar, Love Language is known for weaving together Balearic grooves, disco oddities, soul, funk, and leftfield dance music with a collector’s touch and an open-minded approach to curation. Their sets move effortlessly between intimate listening moments and dancefloor energy, guided by mood, texture, and discovery rather than genre boundaries. DJ Hermano is originally from Brazil and now lives in Montreal. He is the creator of Íntimas, a traveling queer party in Bogotá. As a vinyl selector and collector, his passion for music has taken him across most of the continent, playing on the line-ups of major festivals, parties & clubs in the region and around the world. His vast musical collection and passion focus on Disco, but his mixing style cannot be reduced to a single genre. Still influenced by his Brazilian roots, he incorporates editions from the 80s and 90s, as well as contemporary electronic music. Silktits is a DJ with a deep love for her Montreal community and a fearless ear for the unexpected. Known for her crate digging instincts and genre-fluid style, she takes listeners on soulful journeys that feel both nostalgic and refreshingly new. For the past eight years, Silktits has curated Tender Grooves on Montreal’s N10.AS Radio, broadcasting warm selections every third Sunday of the month. Whether she's playing in intimate venues or dance floors across Montreal, New York, Toronto or Detroit, her sets will always hit that perfect sweet spot between club heat and immersive listening. |
