Well, I may be lucky guy #2 because my I've had my 360 for years and never had anything bad with it. No Red Ring OF Death, no scrapped games and my used games are always super clean. Some gamers, I swear, eat off their games or use it as coasters or something. I always take CDs in and out of the console with the outer edge and the middle hole, my fingers never touch the inside of it.

I do admit my Xbox was never upright though, I guess it accounts for something. In fact, I never set any console I owned upright ( i.e. my old PS2 ) and never had any issues.

As for the X-box controllers, I always have rechargeable batteries in there that last for a few weeks before they get total depleted. Honestly, as much as it sucks to have to change batteries in this thing, I prefer it this way because what happens if your PS3 controller won't charge anymore ? You have to replace the entire thing. That kind of sucks. Plus, I find the 360 controller to be more comfortable than the PS3 one. Guess it's a matter of taste though. But yeah, proprietary IR technology sucks though instead of regular Bluetooth.

As for bilingual games, I still don't understand why people buy games in french. That's like buying a Jay-Z album dubbed in french. WTF.

As for X-Box marketing, well I wouldn't know what's going on with that though so I can't really discuss it.

Ah yes. Yet another fanboy. Let's see. How many times was the Playstation network hacked ? 3 times so far ? How many times was X-Box Live hacked ? Eeeerm, none ? And if you're referring to the Red Ring Of Death, perhaps you might want to ask PS3 owners about their failing Blu-Ray drives and their overheating power modules.

CLEARLY the PS3 is the superior console. It's a fucking console, they both play 96% of video games out there and this discussion is as futile as PCs vs Mac.

I'm a bit saddened by the fact you're playing with your other elitist friends on the PS Network and I can't C4 your ass to bits online.

It's funny how voicing out an opinion makes people so damn susceptible. Did I say I was unhappy about the occupation ? Questioning motives isn't the same as saying it sucks. Plus, learn how to read : I never said ANYTHING about how I personally perceive the occupation through the media. I'm saying more than once did journalists gave occupiers the mic to inform the population about the reasons for the occupation. Unless you've avoided watching the news - or reading about it online - for the last 3 months, the general population was subjected to the message already. And if not, word of mouth has taken care of those out of the loop. So it's not a question of education anymore. By now, we ALL know what the occupation is about.

Your second argument is moot. Although my voice might've been heard, majority wins. Say I've joined the ranks of the occupiers, then after a month I say "guys, I think we oughta pack and go, our job is done", I can assure you the majority of the occupiers would reply "no problem man, no one's keeping you here, you're free to go. We're not going anywhere". Yes, my voice was indeed heard but no one's entitled to agree to it.

I'm all up for discussion. But why isn't this done on websites dedicated to that specifically ? Through social networks ? Billboards ? Special meetings in key locations ? Why a full-blown occupation when the message can be heard a lot faster online ? Wait, I know why. Because 1. the internet is part of that whole capitalist ploy since you have to pay to access it thus making ISPs richer and that doesn't fly with the occupiers and 2. because it's eye candy. 100 people storming a park and camping there for months is going to generate long term media coverage ( obviously, politely asking for a spot on the news won't work. You'll get 15 minute coverage and then it's on to sports and the weather ) as opposed to online. Oh sure, of course that's not what it's all about. Right.

Originally Posted By floStop expecting a revolution right now, stop expecting "tangible results" within days or weeks, you'll just keep hurting yourselves.
This is much bigger, smarter and long-term.

But what if those tangible results don't come ? What if your expectations of a revised capitalist system aren't applied ? What if those greedy bastards out there don't change ? Will be occupation go on for years ? Do you think the 1% haven't heard about you and the 99% ?

Discussion is necessary, I do realize that but it's actions that'll get the job done. And I'm just not sure I understand why this discussion has to take place in a bunch of makeshift tents lying on concrete in a park somewhere when discussion can be accomplished anywhere in less dire conditions.

Oh, media coverage from TV channels owned by mega-corporations belonging to the 1%, right. I forgot about that one again, my bad.

@Kishmay_Pinas : no worries dude, that's why my reply wasn't accusatory. :)

Although, our municipal taxes pay for the frequent police routine check ups and the fire department's several visits to the occupation to verify fire hazards.

I do agree the occupation has gone from educating the masses to a global village social experiment. I mean, it's been a month of constant media exposure now, I think we all kind of got the point by now.

Camo and Krooked are great I just didn't have anything from them I enjoyed this fall. Cheers on the feedback my winter mix will definitely contain some faster more "Dirtyphonics" and "Evol Intent" style tunes. Dark, fast and jumpy. ;) You didn't like the Telekinesis tracks? Those are pretty fresh dancey tunes man. Trancey and dark the way we used to like it!

I think that's my main gripe with the mix. Its minimalism. But yeah, dark vibes it conveys.

I dunno, not a particularly great fan of Camo & Krooked but that may have changed as of late, they've released a few good tracks, like Anubis for one, that I've really enjoyed. "Funk You", "Make The Call" and "Breezeblock" to name a few. Hell, I should just get their new LP instead of talking about it.

Hoo-rah for the winter mix ! Dirtyphonics, Hell yeah. Evol Intent, oh mofo'ng Hell yeah. Can't wait to hear the rest !

As for the Telekinesis track, it's probably my favorite in the entire mix. It's banging like I like 'em. :)

Either the word "Psytrance" repeated as nauseam, how psytrance rocks without offering any interesting or valuable arguments about it or the same cult leader-esque psychedelic cosmic propaganda bullshit which is as pleasant to read as a vegan hellbent on convincing everyone meat is bad.

Nathan, it's a classic case of "hearing what you want to hear". Like many of his kind claiming to hold a superior version of the truth, his ideals are set in stone and cannot be refuted regardless of how hard we try. You'd have better luck arguing with a wall. At least a wall doesn't talk back.

I mean seriously, ever since he opened an account here, he's been antagonizing everyone from the start.
