So you intent to become the Ray Junior of Psy if I understand correctly ( 'cause quite honestly, none of this really makes any sense right now ) ?

You want people to invest in a project that is nowhere near detailed or refined right now. You want to make tons of money to pay back artists yet this is not a lucrative venture. And how will you be able to make money if not but selling your event tickets at $40 a pop ? How in the world will this be a legal venture when about a gazillion other promoters have tried and failed miserably at that ? Are you prepared to deal with sponsorized events you're legally unable to throw or that gets busted ? Also, you're asking people not to copy your ideas or hinder your progress. I'm pretty sure that'll happen exactly as planned.

If this were 1995 maybe but today, with all the additional laws in place, this can't possibly work unless you suck mayor Tremblay's cock for a good month. And with Tremblay's limp dick and brain, I can't foresee any of this working out the way you advertise it to be.

I commend you for your willingness but once you stop frolicking in imaginary fields holding Brahma's hand, reality will bite back and bite you in the ass and wallet so hard they'll bleed to death.

But hey, good luck with that nonetheless.

I just thought I'd mix a couple of recent acid techno tracks together for the sake of it.

Aside from Subway Shocker (2008), all these tracks are all new school acid techno tracks, 2 years old tops. The mixes are poorly executed, the mastering leaves a lot to be desired and I played all tracks pretty much entirely because I'm lazy like that and besides the point is some good ol' bass-in-your-face with a touch of eardrum-scorching 303s for your listening pleasure. Enjoy !

Oh and don't bother commenting on the mix, you really should be banging your head on a wall after this mix.

Well, Fred was right. It had nothing to do with ID tags or anything. Adobe Audition CS5 only saves MP3s using the Fraunhofer encoder, you can't change to something else. In cases like these, I'm glad I sometimes don't pay for software.

Anyway, got Audacity and after spending the initial 3 minutes bypassing the gag reflex over how ugly the interface is, got around to save with the Lame encoder. Uploaded the mix, worked right away. So apparently the Fraunhofer encoder is not true MP3 acording to [ rave.ca ] Oh well. :)

Worked anyways, who cares. LOL.

Thanks Fred ( and anyone else who contributed ) !

I use a recent version of MediaMonkey for ID tagging, it certainly can't be that.

Maybe like Fred suggested, pI do my ost-production in Adobe Audition and saved as an MP3 in there, I probably have to change the encoder to Lamenc or something else. I'll check when I go home tonight and try to re-encode it differently.

I'll report my findings later on. Thanks for your responses, guys. :)

Psyheads are the only group of people I don't even need to make fun of because they are doing a bang up job themselves.

Also, they spend an inordinate amount of time discussing the virtues of psychoactive substances in order to experience a higher state of consciousness... yet when they are going through this very same experience, they sit down at a computer and type mostly gibberish. I guess my feeble consciousness isn't equipped to understand this language of the Gods. *cough*

Through sunlight exposure, plants achieve photosynthesis which releases oxygen. Less plants, less oxygen. Pot are still plants I checked.

So Harper is cutting down of the number of such plants in one's home. This in turn reduces the amount of oxygen produced in homes ergo Harper is also against cleaner air and therefore the environment.

The Conservatives : cracking down on pot and the environment.

I go in my profile, settings, My Music and try to upload a mix.

I've tried at least 7 times using Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome, nothing works.

In all cases, the mix uploads fully but it's not there when I refresh the page. I've used both uploaders and no go for either.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a problem with music uploading ?

Well I've seen a lot of TV shows that featured occupiers who came to discuss the occupation so I don't think all media is focusing on the negative aspects of the occupation. Yet, if none of what's been detailed above did happen, the press wouldn't focus on that entirely.

The occupation had its flaws, whether anyone likes it or not. No it's not an accurate description of the occupation but it still happened.

And not everyone of the 99% has time to stroll by Square Victoria to see what it's about so they sort of have to rely on the media and social networks. You can't blame them for that. I'm sure the war in IRAQ is incredibly biased by the american media but it's not like I have time to fly over there and see it for myself.

This isn't directed at anyone in particular but it seems every now and then, someone different comes in here and goes on some sort of narcissistic bend, plays hard ass for a while and when the adrenaline rush subsides and it's back to normal again ( whatever your "normal" is ).

I'm not condoning it, it's just a bit hard to adjust to it only to have to readjust yet again a bit later.

No demands were made because by the time every occupier gathered together to sit down and discuss this through, they were too shitfaced to hold a decent conversation ( and those sober enough were too pissed at everyone else ). Then they'd say "fuck it, we'll try this again tomorrow" before crashing in their tents.

No, you just suck as a player, that's all. :) Then again, I've seen and experienced this a whole lot in BF3 as of late. Bullets travel quite a whole lot if fired accordingly ( compensating for distance and bullet drop ). Also, if you're prone flat on the floor, you have a little less recoil and more accuracy.

It IS possible but you have to be pretty damn good to pull it off.

The only thing that fucking sucks with a controller is good luck doing a quick 180 when you're being shot in the back. :(
