Well, to be honest, i would HIGHLY recommend actually going for the career and keeping the music as a hobby/moonlighting gig. While a lot of people on this forum are young, most don't even know what they want to do in life. i didn't too until i hit 22. So my best advice, go for the safe reliable thing, and do your music on your own time afterwards.

We have programmers that have to program GUI interfaces for modern windows systems... so we kinda have tostay up to date in that shit. However, all the servers ( aka not the programmer workstations) are running on linux.
