Global Village Productions is an Event Decor and Design Studio. Our services cover a comprehensive creative portfolio ranging from conceptual decor design to themed events.

The Global Village creator and director, Jason Pugh, began in Johannesburg in the mid nineties with more than just a mobile disco company, but with a dream and a passion to create a concept of creative events. Global Village then became Global Village Promotions, and hosted and promoted a broad range of music and arts events. Global Village began as a studio project aiming to pull together talented artists and musicians from different communities to innovate events design and artistic development.

In 2007, Global Village found a new home in London. London, the world's very own global village, gave us a rich source for recruiting new and vibrant artists and designers. It also provided a great platform to showcase our innovations in new decor concepts and ideas. We have since nurtured a great relationship with various highly talented artists in their chosen fields, from projection artists to designers. As permanent in house designers for many event producers and promoters, we have contributed to the growth and success of numerous event concepts.

Having developed partnerships with other productions and projects such as Gaiasphere, Freakadelic Psycraftz and The Global ReAnimate Project, they continue to grow in our dedicated journey to evolve as artists and in production design. They explore new avenues in floating structural design, stretch sets, lighting, multimedia, fully immersed Ultra Violet scenery and animation/illustration.

They now represent a global movement of highly talented, self empowered and motivated artists who are dedicated to the evolution of events design and creative arts. We strive to create interactive transcendental decor that inspires, enhances positive consciousness, and generates constructive communication allowing for a true aesthetic experience.

Laughing Buddha est le producteur et DJ britannique Jeremy van Kampen. Ancien guitariste, il a été inspiré à produire de la transe par les fêtes Goa du début des années 1990. Sa première production a été l’EP « Cannabanoid » sur Transient Records sous le nom Cosmosis avec Bill Halsey en 1995. Ce partenariat a mené à l’album « Cosmology » et à une série de succès, comme « Morphic Resonance » et « Gift of the Gods ». Le duo a aussi lancé les simples « Infinite depths » et « Karma » sur T.I.P. Records sous le nom Laughing Buddha.

Quand le duo s’est séparé en 1998, Jez a poursuivi le projet Laughing Buddha, produisant d’autres succès comme « If You Think You’re Psykik » sur étiquette Transient et réalisant des collaborations avec Chris Decker de Medicine Drum et avec Purple, avec qui il a produit la pièce classique « Remote » sur la compilation Flying Rhinos Maelstrom. John Rigas (alias Alwoods) est attiré par la musique psychédélique depuis qu’il est devenu DJ il y a plus de dix ans. Au cours des trois dernières années, John s’est intéressé à la production musicale, apprenant à écrire, à composer et à étudier la technologie utilisée pour créer les sons qu’il cherchait. Avec le temps, ses compétences ont évolué et il s’est mis à produire de la transe psychédélique sous le nom Atreus. John devient maintenant Alwoods. Il a déjà lancé « Aeolian Mode » sur Altar Records [ www.altar-records.com ] .

Son premier album, « Aeolian Mode », est rempli de rythmes doux et martelés, enveloppés dans d’épaisses auras psychédéliques, parfaits pour stimuler l’énergie d’une nouvelle journée. Les albums d’Alwoods tirent leur inspiration de son amour pour la nature et les éléments, ainsi que du temps qu’il a passé sur les versants des montagnes de la Grèce. Des sons naturels, des atmosphères illuminées et des énergies vibrantes créent une merveilleuse expérience auditive qui fusionne les sons du matin à une ambiance profonde.

John va nous offrir un nouvel album tout neuf, intitulé « Long LifeForest », en décembre 2013. Les albums d’Alwoods tirent leur inspiration de son amour pour la nature et les éléments, ainsi que du temps qu'il a passé sur les versants des montagnes de la Grèce.


John Rigas (a.k.a. Alwoods) was drawn to psychedelic music when he began DJing more than a decade ago. Over the past three years, John began pursuing music production, learning to write, compose and studying the technology used to craft the sounds he was seeking. Over time, his skills evolved and he began producing psytrance as Atreus. Now John steps forward as Alwoods. He already released “Aeolian Mode” on Altar Records [ www.altar-records.com ]

His first album, entitled “Aeolian Mode” is an album full of soft driving beats wrapped in thick psychedelic auras that is perfect for stimulating the energy of a new day. For his albums, Alwoods draws inspiration from his love of nature, the elements, and his time spent in the Greek mountainside. Natural sounds, bright atmospheres and pulsing energies create a wondrous audio experience that fuses morning sounds with deep ambiance. John is coming up with a new fresh album for December 2013, entitled
“Long Life Forest.” For his albums, Alwoods draws inspiration from his love of nature, the elements, and his time spent in the Greek mountainside.

La scène stellaire sera une fois de plus à découvrir cette année pour sa splendeur, sa simplicité, son confort et son décor. Elle devient l'équilibre du festival ! À la musique ambiante psychédélique et organique et à la musique down tempo et dub s’ajouteront, cette année, des performances acoustiques en direct, des ateliers et des conférences ! C’est un espace chaleureux qui célèbrera un retour aux sources favorisant la relaxation, la détente, le bien-être, l’amour, l’interaction entre les participants et, bien sûr, la danse avec beaucoup de lumière !

Matt Allaby is a trance producer from Manchester in the UK. His unique sound has been forged through his background in the acid house scene in the 'Madchester' nineties and the years following where Matt played his part in the beginnings of the Northern psytrance scene.

He was a resident dj and co-promoter of the 'Sunrise' party in Manchester from its creation in 1997. This became a launch pad for his studio work which first saw fruition on Spiral Trax in 2002.

In the last 2 years matt's gigs include Glastonbury and Glade (UK), Sonica (IT), Voov (DE), Taz (Israel) Rainbow Serpent (Aus) and Kabbalah and Universo Parallelo (Brazil). Released tracks since 2002 on record labels including Nano, Spiral Trax, Twisted, Neurobiotic, Alchemy and Digital Structures.

One unique facet of Allaby's music is that he is able to tailor his set to suit a both the full-on scene and a more progressive sounding arena. He has worked affectively both as a headliner and as an act that can smoothly create a transition from progressive sounds to full on and vise-versa. Listen out for his more deep progressive vibes in his remix of Landmark, and for a stomping psy-trance track, the epic and trademark sound that is also Allaby, 'Angel of My Soul.'

To catch a live performance of Allaby this year look out for him at the Glade, Glastonbury, Ozora, Sonica, Aurora to name a few.

Flip Flop are Chris Hanson (aka Touch Tone/Sketchy Pimps/DJ Crispy) and John Beesemyer-Monkman (aka Hemi-Sync/Pink Noize), two producers from the UK. Both have been writing trance for over seven years, using this time to hone their production techniques and allow their sound to develop into the kicking Full On/Progressive hybrid that it has become.
With influences from many different genres of music and a tendency to think outside the box,their music stands out at home as well as on massive sound-systems. Huge slabs of groove and tripped out sonic sound-scapes are interlaced with a melodic structure subtly easing its way out of the arrangement. Both Chris and John DJ and Play live regularly around the UK in addition to international gigs played in Brazil, German, Thailand, France, Sweden, Denmark and India.


Touch Tone is the solo project of Chris Hanson (Flip Flop/Sketchy Pimps). Having been dj-ing for the past twelve years and producing for nine, he has refined and reinvented his style over many years and is committed to making highly polished productions which deliver both on the dance floor and at home. Tight pounding grooves, epic soundscapes and surprising twists and turns interlocked with sneaky production tricks keep the listeners and djs firmly on their toes. Having spent the last five years touring and working on the Flip Flop Project (with John Monkman) he has acquired an instinctive knowledge, both as a dj and a live act, of how to deal with rowdy dance floors when they step out of line. He has been working on lots of new material to unleash with releases on Nano and Alchemy soon to be dropped on the unsuspecting world. In addition to djing and playing live regularly on his home turf in the UK, he has rocked a multitude of parties spanning Brazil, Thailand, France, Germany, USA, Denmark, India, and Sweden.

Johnson & Haske are Thomas Johanshon and Sascha Haske from Hamburg (Germany) They know each other for almost 10 years now. Thomas better known as DJ Mapusa Mapusa was working on projects like Auricular and Human Traffic. Sascha is also producing under Bitmonx and Buzzmonx . In 2008 they decided to start a new project together for more minimal,techno or house stuff. The first release (Duca-Canadian Visa RMX) on Tribal Vision Rec.was supportet by well known Dj..s like D-Nox and Umek and stayed in the Beatport TechnoTop100 for more than 6 weeks. A decade in any music industry is no mean feat in any style of music - but in electronic music, it is a proverbial lifetime. Few acts can claim this feat at all, let alone claim ten years of success - but in 2008, that is what Rickard BerglĂśf and Robert Elster (better known to the world as Vibrasphere) have accomplished.

With over a 100 released productions to their name and gigs in all parts of the globe, Vibrasphere is without a doubt one of the most sought-after and respected trance acts in the world today. Early releases Echo (2001) on Spiral Trax and Lime Structure (2003) on Digital Structures established them as truly leading figures of the progressive trance scene, earning them a place in the history of this progressive sound. Their 3rd Album, Archipelago (also on Digital Structures) was regarded as one of the seminal releases of 2006 and after their short break in 2005, firmly signally Vibrasphere were back on the scene.

In late 2006, the single Floating Free was picked up by superstar DJs Markus Shulz and Armin Van Buuren for their radio shows, resulting in a string of licenses including Gatecrasher Live on Ministry of Sound and Armada Trance Vol. 1. With strong support from DJs Paul Van Dyk, Hernan Cattaneo, Paul Oakenfold, Christopher Lawrence, Remy, Menno de Jong, Kenneth Thomas and John 00 Fleming has helped with making a successful transition to a wider audience and a whole new generation of Vibrasphere fans. Riding on the back of their successful 2006 release Archipelago (and its subsequent remix cd), Vibrasphere released their 4th full length album, Exploring the Tributaries, this time on Tribal Vision Records in June 2007. In the spring of 2008 Vibrasphere released a track called Autumn Lights on John 00 Fleming´s label Joof.

With their fifth and new release Lungs of Life on Tribal Vision, Rickard and Robert achieved a maturation of their diverse sound and another step forward for this dynamic production duo. The album features a brand new studio material, from downtempo to progressive, techno and trance, including a very special collaboration with infamous Swedish project Ticon. Tech Safari is proud to presented the last performance on the stage of Vibrasphere ! Don't miss this last dance !

Pig & Dan aka Igor Tchkotoua and Dan Duncan seem to be the new kids in the underground. However the experience of this duo stretches back to the beginning of the dance music scene. This was only possible because of their work in major recording studio’s making tea for the famous and learning about engineering and producing pop records.

In those days there were no home studios like there are today plus a very limited selection of synthesizers or electronic equipment to sequence with. They both used the time when nobody was working in the studio’s to start to experiment using the primitive technology that was available to them.

In 1990 Dan followed through with a new vibe and became part of one of the most influential drum&bass artists known in the genres history ¨Intense¨. He played both live and behind the decks with the likes of LTJ Bukem, Fabio and Grooverider all over the globe. He was then responsible for hitting the mainstream after signing a big deal with Sony records, but still maintained the sound that was considered deep underground.

In 1999 Igor met Dan on a flight to Spain and began a partnership that has now risen to a point of recognition worldwide. Their mixture of influences has given them a sound, which is easily recognizable and seems to be loved by the masses.

Almost immediately the likes of Sander Kleinenburg and Anthony Pappa were including them on their massive selling mix CD´s and other mainstream DJ´s such as Laurent Garnier and Deep Dish were including many of their tracks in their summer sessions.

After over twenty releases on their well-respected label 'Submission' Pig&Dan felt it was time to take a turn and go back their more electronic roots. They opened a new label ¨Sonic Society¨ which is now being hailed as one of the it labels in the club scene, plus has the likes of Sven Vath, Loco Dice and Mandy supporting the duo in a big way. Due to the support of the more tech side of the scene Pig&Dan have now released with Cocoon both on vinyl and CD and have been remixing for the likes of most respected Underworld and Oliver Koletzki to name a few.

Also their work behind the decks has exploded in such a way that it seems that they are going to be one of the most popular choices for the summer of 2006. They are the only DJ´s that have been invited to play in Cocoon club after being part of the much acclaimed night ¨next generation¨ and have been booked to play around the globe from London to Buenos Aires.

Both as artists and DJ´s Pig & Dan are set to put the smiley face back into the dance industry. They’re on mission to help us have our good night out, and take us back to the vibe that was only found in previous years. ¨Its time to make people in the club scene have fun again. Mad Maxx est le projet solo de Max Peterson. Max est né à San Diego (Californie), il a passé son adolescence en France. Il a ensuite vécu aux États-Unis et au Mexique avant de s’installer à Barcelone, en Espagne. Max participe à la scène musicale depuis plus de dix ans. Il a commencé sa carrière de DJ à San Francisco en 1996 pour ensuite produire de la musique transe en 2000 avec Samy Guédiche (CPU) et Nicolas Oesch (Mekkanikka) avec leur projet commun, Biodégradable. La carrière de Max comme producteur a rapidement pris son envol. C’est seulement un an plus tard que Max et Davina Elmosnino allaient créer le groupe Sirius Isness, qui allait rapidement conquérir les foules d’un bout à l’autre de la planète, avec la production de trois albums et d'une compilation sur des étiquettes réputées, comme Moon Spirit, Mind Control (Talamasca) et Phantasm Records.

Depuis deux ans, Max a commencé un projet solo: Mad Maxx. Ce projet est le résultat de nombreuses années de travail acharné à perfectionner un type de son qui incarne tous ses voyages et toutes ses expériences des dix dernières années. Sa musique est un mélange de transe, de sons ethniques et de sons profonds, avec une ligne de basse solide, une touche électro, des chants émotifs et parfois des ambiances nostalgiques, le tout avec un BPM de 140 à 145, dans une tornade psychédélique. Max prépare actuellement son 2e album qui paraitra son nouveau label United Beats Records qu'il dirige avec nul autre que le groupe francais XSI ! Pour ceux et celles qui l'ont manqué au festival Éclipse, ne le manquez surtout pas, son énergie est contagieuse !

Global Village Productions is an event-decoration studio based in England and specializing in the creation of fully immersive 3D structures and designs. Over the past three years, designers from the collective have become major players in the British underground movement, as well as in the more commercial aspect of electronic music, thanks to their tendency to always push back the frontiers of artistic creation for indoor and outdoor decors. The group recently showed off its talents at the 10th edition of Ozora Festival in Hungary in 2009, and reached an international platform with innovations in 3D design. We’re extremely proud to showcase their work for the very first time in North America.

Global Village Productions is an event-decoration studio based in England and specializing in the creation of fully immersive 3D structures and designs. Over the past three years, designers from the collective have become major players in the British underground movement, as well as in the more commercial aspect of electronic music, thanks to their tendency to always push back the frontiers of artistic creation for indoor and outdoor decors. The group recently showed off its talents at the 10th edition of Ozora Festival in Hungary in 2009, and reached an international platform with innovations in 3D design. We’re extremely proud to showcase their work for the very first time in North America.

Fredrik is one of the unique visual artists members of Divine Music Tribes. NOS is one of the most appreciated artist today and one of the best known worldwide for his UV art. His large-scale paintings have travelled the world for over two decades -and have finally landed at Eclipse Festival 2010!

Gill, alias Hyper Frequencies, a commencé sa carrière de musicien dans les années 1980 comme bassiste pour plusieurs groupes de rock psychédélique. Au début 2001, il s’est joint à Fred, alias Neuromotor, pour former Crazy Lions Cult; leur première pièce a été «Hey Dave» sur étiquette Hadshot Haheizer. Le premier EP de Hyper Frequencies, a suivi peu après et la même année, il a lancé «The Lost Generation» sur la compilation «Origin» de Turbo Trance. En 2003, Hyper Frequencies a fait rugir le monde de la transe avec son premier album, Red Crystal Moon, sur étiquette Mechanik Records. Au cours des années suivantes, Hyper Frequencies est devenu un collaborateur régulier aux compilations de Peak Records, Hadra, Timecode, Quantika, Spirit Zone et Geomagnetic. Un artiste à découvrir qui en sera à sa première prestation en sol canadien!
