Monoxcide is the brand new Techno/Minimal solo project of Celli Firmi. In 1994 Celli began djing on his native island of ibiza at the age of 17, has been producing Psychedelic trance and chillout under the name Earthling, and djing for about 14 years. He has acheived global success as a Psytrance dj and live performer, and has recently taken an interest in Techno and Minimal Techno. His first EP as Monoxcide entitled: "Santa Katamina" will appear on the newly formed ibiza-based Label Encrypted Records. He released a new track with Riktam and Bansi on the label Plastic Park! He's continuing touring around the globe ...to such places as Japan , Mexico, Brazil, Australia , Portugal, Germany, Italy, South Africa, Austria, Thailand, Belgium and alot others ... and rocked there Dancefloors with more then 20000 partypeople ... Played in Festivals like Universo Parallelo (Brasil) , Boom festival (Portugal), Fullmoon festival(Germany), Zoom (Swiss), Geometrix(Swiss), Tshitraka(Germany)... With a worldwide dj career, a showcase of four Danceclub Magazine awards, an internationally renowned label group and a smooth personality, Dj Pena is one of the leading portuguese progressive djs in the world. Pena is a musical lover. Open-minded but demanding, mixes intense and hypnotic sound atmospheres with invigorating and pumping beat explorations, taking elements across the spectrum of electronic dance music, from progressive trance to house, electro to minimal, filtering them through an eclectic spiral emotion.. In 1996 the Psychedelic scene was just starting in Portugal when Pena decided to change the laws for decks. Instead of following a lawyers career he devoted himself, totally and exclusively, to music. He started as a DJ, but soon after, in 2000, founded Flow Records. This platform allowed him to invest on his own musical line, deep, steadfast and profound stories with surprisingly voluptuous and stimulating melodies. The label gave him a chance to interpret, even further, his groovy road of thinking and allowed him to travel continually all over the globe.


From 2000 to 2004 all his dedication was distinguished by four prizes as Best Trance DJ at annual Dance Club Awards, organized by Dance Club Magazine, the only and respectful Portuguese Electronic Music Magazine. In 2006, has created Flow Vinyl for a housier approach, setting pace on what he plays nowadays, having his releases been supported by the top jocks. Apart from that, he continues his strive for top class open minded parties in his motherland, leading to the start of the renowned Flow parties, blending progressive house, progressive trance and even minimal techno, inviting talents to Portugal like Audiojack, Dousk, Minilogue, Extrawelt, Mashtronic, Luke Dzierzek, Motion, Antix to name a fewWhat more to say of this influential and foremost pillar of worlds electronic music stage?! Dado aka Frédéric Holyszewski repeatedly woos crowds and longtime fans to the beat of his new productions. These ranging from his solo projects as Deedrah, as he is known in the circuit since 15 years now, or the most recent of his bands formed little over 2 years ago, the KromeAngels, (Album out soon) he stands to face anywhere between 5 to 30 thousand eager fans on gig!!. Once in the scene in the mid 90’s, first as a self-made rock band, Vision Quest, which later dissolved, Dado met Christophe Drouillet with whom he would form the legendary group Transwave. Only 3 months later they release the first album under a small French label “Transpact”. This was only the beginning, and in only 2 years they reached mind blowing success releasing 3 albums. The duo gained first hand experience selling and producing the entire CD themselves, from creating the sleeves, recording the album, and even directing the first video for the international trance hit “Land of Freedom”. Be prepared for the 4th album by Transwave, though still under construction already receives great feedback from fans all over the globe .The band, more active than ever , performs the whole world in search of the perfect party ! After all this experience Dado eagerly progressed into creating his first ever studio in a Paris basement. In ’97 Dado created QuestionMark records to establish a structure for French and international artists providing not only a label for promotion but also supporting a recording and production system. The first Deedrah album “Self-Oscillation” was released under this label, as well as three compilations “The Groovebox”, “ Anologique” and “Digitale”. The first album “Cypher” was released with the cooperation of TWISTED Rds. UK. Under the QuestionMarks label he would cooperate with artists like TSUYOSHI, SUZUKI, ASTRAL PROJECTION, SID SHANTI, AVI ALGRANATI, TOTAL ECLIPSE and also remixes for THE DELTA, HALLUCINOGEN, or KILLING JOKE. As if it were not enough, Dado also created another alias SYNTHETIC initially releasing the fantastic Metalgear EP with TWISTED rds. later releasing a first album on SOLSTICE MUSIC and not the least, DANDANdDADO where the epic Diamond Dust came to life! The Dado snowball kept picking up momentum growing like an avalanche and at this moment he, together with DMT NAKOV and SERGE SOUQUE of Total Eclipse came together to form GBU (the good, the bad and the ugly ), who ( played in the most important festivals of the techno scene like sonica , the glade festival or the solstice music festival in tokyo . dado kept himself busy again , contracted by sony to composed the opening tune and sound effects of the ps2 game grand turismo 3 . Instantly making a stand, his presence soon became known through his sexy melodic beats, Dado inevitably began attracting world-wide attention to his DJ sets and Lives in destinations all over the world, gaining the opportunity to work alongside different talent which not only influenced his future but still regard him as a master in the engineering and technical aspect of music production…. His talent and knowledge of music is wide spread as his versatility in style. This is reflected in his multiple groups or ‘personalities’!!! Earthling is the solo project of Dj Celli. Celli was born on the island of Ibiza in 1977. In the early 90's, he began going to Full Moon parties and clubs on the island, which influenced him greatly, Since the island has always had a healthy music, and party scene. In1992, he began working with an organization in Ibiza called Art Party, and learned the art of party organizing. When the first Psychedelic Trance arrived on the island, Celli fell in love with the music, and he, and a group of friends began organizing their own parties, specializing in Psychedelic trance. These parties were very successful, and helped to kick off the psytrance scene in Ibiza, which is still very popular today. It was at one of these parties that he played his first dj set. In the year 1998, after six years of making parties, and djing on the island, Celli bought his first studio equipment, and began creating his own music, shortly afterwards he formed his solo project… Earthling, releasing his first tracks "Just Say Yes" on T.I.P. records, "Dusty Hoffmans" on Neurobiotic records, and his debut album "Patterns" on Acidance records in 2001, which gave him global recognition, and launched his career as an international Dj and performer.


Shortly afterward, with his friends Riktam and Bansi of legendary Psytrance group GMS, he formed a new group called Soundaholix . together, they have produced dozens of hits such as Psychedelic Circus, Technofari, and The Moon, and will release their debut album "Soundaholix Anonymous" in December 2008. In 2003 He formed another group called Vatos Locos, with Trance pioneer Nick Doof, and Mexican Dj Xavier Fux. They have two albums together. Welcome 2 da Barrio, and Attack and Release. Their first album “welcome 2 da Barrio” , was released on Sony Music, Dance Division, and went on to achieve huge success all over south America, with their music videos being shown on MTV and Telehit. Celli also produces Minimal Techno under the name Monoxcide, and Chill out, under the name Earthling , with his tracks appearing on many Ibiza-based compilations over the years, and has a chillout/Dub based project with Nick Doof called 3rd Ear Audio. Earthling's highly anticipated second album "Hypernature" will be released on Neurobiotic records in december 2008, and promises to be a contemporary defintion of his sound: a unique blend of deep, psychedelic soundscapes and organic rhythms. Third Ear Audio is two friends,Nick Barber (Doof) and Celli Firmi (Earthling). Nick is from the UK and Celli was born and raised on the island of Ibiza,which is where they first met back in the mid-90s through the trance party scene.Nick was already producing music and djing as Doof,with numerous releases on Dragonfly, T.I.P, Twisted, Matsuri, Blue Room and various other independent dance labels,including the now classic first Doof album 'Let's Turn On" (T.I.P Records/re-issued on Twisted Records). At that time Celli was just starting a career in music production and djing which within a short while would see him become one of the leading talents in the psy-scene,working closely with old friends G.M.S and Spun Records,releasing his own music as Earthling and numerous collaborations including Soundaholix and Vatos Locos (Sony Music/Dragonfly). Nick and Celli used to dj together at the many outdoor free parties on Ibiza,often playing ping-pong sets as a duo.They decided to try and make some music together,and from these early laptop sessions came the tracks that would eventually lead to the formation of the Vatos Locos project with Mexican dj and good friend Xavier Fux. When Nick moved from London to Ibiza he and Celli set up a studio together in the house they shared.In between working on dance tracks for Vatos Locos they started producing downtempo and chill-out tracks which eventually became the basis for the Third Ear Audio project. Covering a range of musical influences from trance,chill-out electronica thru dub to big-beat and rock,and incorporating live instruments including sessions with Mexican percussionist and tabla-wizard Rupesh and flautist Nidra Sofia,the Third Ear album pretty much covers the spectrum of deep-chillage,reflecting Celli and Nick's varied musical tastes. Third Ear Audio are currently booked to play the Twisted party at the Brixton Academy in May 2007 with Ott,Younger Brother and Hallucingen In Dub. The first Third Ear Audio album,working-title 'Final Front Ear',was recently completed and should be out later this year.

Gaudi's eclectic style and versatility has kept him at the forefront of his field throughout a noteable and prolific career. His music, which is an organic fusion of dub, world and nu-beat, is in production, on the playlists and regularly being performed live in the UK and internationally. He has been stretching the boundaries of music since the start of his career in the early eighties. From a very early age however, Italian born Gaudi cultivated his obsession with music by constantly searching for and experimenting with new forms of sounds and grooves. Zen Mechanics was launched in 2002 by the multi-talented Dutchman Wouter Thomassen,Drawing from his 12 year DJ experience, he soon caused quite a stir with his eclectic style.By fusing elements of futuristic Trance, Progressive, Ambient & Breaks into a powerfull dancefloor-friendly and atmospheric sound, he quickly gained critical acclaim and interest from a range of top labels as varied as his output (such as Aleph Zero, Iboga, Neurobiotic, Nano, Alchemy and Flow).Since then he's been travelling the planet nonstop, and booked for some of the world's biggest psychedelic festivals such as Boom, Glade, Universo Paralello, Sonica, Tribe, Solstice, Kaballah & Rainbow Serpent.Besides this, Wouter runs 2 other projects, Citizen (Progressive) and Transmissions in Bloom (Ambient/Freestyle).

Un petit mot pour vous informer qu’Éclipse aura lieu finalement les 7, 8, 9 et 10 août prochain! Le festival Sonica aura lieu le dernier weekend de juillet en Italie. Aussi, pour nous assurer d'attirer de bons artistes qui seront disponibles, nous devons bouger notre date pour 2009! Merci de votre compréhension et en espérant vous y voir quand même en grand nombre pour une autre belle aventure!

A quick word to let you know that in the end, Eclipse 2009 will take place next August 7, 8, 9 and 10! The Sonica Festival will be held in Italy over the last July weekend. To ensure that we can attract great artists who will be available, we had to move our dates for 2009! Thank you for your understanding, and here’s hoping we’ll nevertheless see most of you for this new adventure!

Après le festival plein air éclipse, Tech Safari est de retour. C'est confirmé! Le dernier chapitre des soirées Amazone reviendra une dernière fois pour l'halloween avec une dernière excursion psychotropique. Samedi le 1er novembre prochain, Tech Safari présente la dernière soirée Amazone, the last halloween ritual. Faites place à votre imagination, ôser et arrivez déguisés! Des pris seront offerts aux plus beaux déguisements. La thématique de la soirée amazone sera lancée sous peu...

Nous vous invitons à venir célébrer avec nous et faire revivre la magie des soirées amazone pour une dernière fois, celle qui nous a fait vibrer durant toutes ces années au 980 rachel, à la SAT et au Bain Mathieu.

Merlin Ettore (est. 1984), third generation percussionist, is a hybrid artist performing in a frenetic, jaw dropping yet clearly genetic style.1986: Merlin, age 2, destroys his mother's kitchenware with makeshift drumsticks.1996: Merlin, age 12, plays his first professional gig.2006: Merlin, age 22, has released his first album, played his fourth canadian tour, and is planning his third european.2007: Merlin's drumming wizardry puzzles and astonishes peers, audiences and collaborators.His latest project, furious percussion duo Blandiloquentia, has been invited to appear at the Montreal Museum of Modern Art and at the Montreal Drumfest 2007. Their first album is scheduled for release in fall 2007.Collaborators, on stage and in studio, include Quebec percussion superstar Luc Boivin, jazz legend Guy Nadon, Frank Zappa's keyboardist Don Preston, King Crimson drummer Pat Mastelotto, world renowned installation artists Dejode / Lacombe and sound architect Nick Bugayev.Recent clients include a commission from the Montreal Museum of Archeology and History for the 2007 Port Symphonies, exclusive percussion workshop with the Cirque du Soleil executive, exclusive performance for Louis Vuitton Inc., conception and performance for McDonalds, Merlin has also worked extensively as a promoter and event producer.Merlin is officially endorsed by Ableton Software, Yamaha Drums and Paiste cymbals. He divides his time between Montreal, Berlin and Milan.

Chakra Corona is the name of Fernando Aguinaco's real
time image mixing project on which he has been working
on since 1997, also participating sometimes with other
fellow visual artists.

Using the highest technology available with the help
of projections, multimedia montages and video loops
that synchronize with the sound, he mixes them with
other loops, visual messages and infinite realistic
and abstract images.

The real time mixes of VJ Chakracorona are similar to
a DJ's, but with the use of images and different tools
such as a computer, DVD, repetitive loops, MIDI and
software that obtain an excellent response by
manipulating images in movement, he harmonizes them
with the audio artist while intensifying the visual sense.

Chakracorona has been participating in the musical
scene and important festivals both in Mexico City and
the rest of the country.

Merlin's Magic, Joannie's Intuition
This duo is about to take you by surprise, not only by dint of their expertise and precision, but by a certain connection between Joannie Labelle and Merlin Ettore, the two percussionists who comprise this duo. Between them, they generate the humid passion of Latin, the electro-speak of the laptop, the rhythms of far shores beaten by hands on indigenous instruments, and the restless funk played by sticks on the western drumset. Between them, they've done internships in Cuba, pursued advanced percussion studies, devised multi-media presentations, and worked the drumset to frenetic heights. As you will see from Joannie and Merlin's first note, this is no thrown-together outfit. They've been active in the Montreal scene, adding finesse to their presentation. Expect great things from Blandilo.

D-Nox est un acteur respecté de l’univers de la trance depuis plus de 14 ans. Sa carrière a commencé au début des années 1990 en Allemagne. Depuis, il a ravi les foules enthousiastes des planchers de danse de tous les continents : Tokyo, Cape Town, Rio de Janeiro, Shanghai, New York, Melbourne, Londres… Il a acquis une notoriété encore plus grande avec ses parutions sur des labels comme Vapour, Baroque, Electribe, et sur sa propre étiquette, Sprout Music. Au cours des dernières années, son projet D-Nox & Beckers, toujours plus populaire, a causé de grandes vagues. Tout a commencé avec Jetlag Slave, la pièce de house progressive la plus téléchargée sur Beatport en 2005, suivie de près par Seven Hours, qui paraîtra bientôt sur une compilation mixée par Faithless sur étiquette Renaissance. Comment décrire le style de D-Nox ? Une hybridation des genres, une techno minimaliste, tordue, délirante et hypnotique, irrésistiblement dansante. D-Nox has been a highly respected player on the global dance scene for over 14 years. He began his career in the early 1990s in Germany. He has since thrilled the enthusiastic crowds on dance floors of all continents, visiting Tokyo, Cape Town, Rio de Janeiro, Shanghai, New York, Melbourne, London... He gained additional recognition for his releases on labels including Vapour, Baroque, Electribe, and his own Sprout Music. Over the past couple of years, the ever-popular side project D-Nox & Beckers has been causing major ripples throughout the dance world. It started with Jetlag Slave, which was the most downloaded progressive-house track on Beatport in 2005, closely followed by Seven Hours, which was recently licensed to Renaissance for a compilation mixed by Faithless. D-Nox’s style is best described as crossover, minimal techno, twisted trippy, hypnotic and always rocking the dance floor. Christian Wedekind owns the labels Sprout Music and Plastik Park Records.
