Well I'll be busy getting petitions and I think I'll have a small team of people with me. I'd like to collect 1000 names on the mountain, and 1000 names at epic... It will be a good weekend to start off with 2000 names. I think it's possible, with 10 people that's only 200 names each. :)

One side of the park (where the gazebo is) is PDQ 20
The other side Jeanne Mance park (where we can move to since it's different police officers) is PDQ 38

We should do it at the gazebo... But the police have been given strict orders to not allow music the the gazebo but they have not been given orders to stop it anywhere else. But it seems like they can't stop it at the gazebo either from what I have read. They claims we are not allowed amplified devices on the mountain but it's a lie, we are allowed. There is no bylaw which claims we are not allowed. I'll know tomorrow after I get a reply from Commandant Marc St-Cyr at PDQ20 about the whole twist of words. I have the real document printed and it's sitting right next to me on my desk.

Umm I think the people who didn't get to play last week are set to play again. It will probably get shut down again and I'll get a 100$ fine. Whatever it's 100$. Worth it especially to get signatures. And the fine is not really valid I will fight it in court. I'm already waiting for an answer from the head of police on what we are doing wrong cause they have been telling me lies. They said there is a bylaw saying your not allowed amplified devices in parks but I found the bylaw on the city's website and it does not say that.

HIGH LIFE

Head Shop Owner Says He Was Born to Sell Salvia, Marijuana
Paraphernalia and Psychedelic Party Clothing

Name: Andre Levert

Age: 33

Occupation: Proprietor of Psychonaut (154 Prince Arthur E.)

Bio: This jolly Vieux Longueuil family man has been enthralled by the
wonderful world of reefer ever since he was a child growing up in small town
southern Ontario. "I was 13, riding in the car with my dad listening to this
report on Radio-Canada that was really exaggerating the negatives about pot,
when I went, 'Hey, this is something I need to try soon.'" Discovering "the
effects to be quite inter-esting," young Andre started researching the devil's
weed something fierce, delving into "the whole conspiracy behind its
prohibition, its history, its different effects etc" and today credits his
youthful marijuana fixation for keeping him "out of all sorts of trouble. It
brought me to this peaceful culture when I so easily could've been drawn to
darker things." Although he studied to become and eventually did labour for
a brief period as a health care attendant, Andre says his heart and soul
have always belonged to the "marijuana counter-culture," so in 2003, after
managing another area head shop for several years, he decided to go whole
hog and open his own clothing/paraphernalia outlet, the inimitable
Psychonaut at 154 Prince Arthur E. He drives a pragmatic 2006 Toyota
Corolla.

Were his parents proud when he announced he was launching his very own
business, selling items that encourage illegal drug consumption?
"Well, my dad's an ex-monk and my mom an ex-nun who found each other
after leaving the church and eventually had five children together.
Even still, what I was selling didn't bother them nearly as much as
the risks involved in opening my own business. They wanted me to
pursue health care where I'd make more money, but I got into this
because of my interest in the marijuana counter-culture, not to get
rich. Truth is, this is the job I've known I was born to do ever since
I was 17. Owning something like Psychonaut has always been my dream."

The biggest selling items at Psychonaut: "Clothing, surprisingly. Women's
psychedelic party clothing for the local psychedelic rave community."

Have people grown tired of salvia yet or has Miley Cyrus
re-popularized the stuff? "Salvia is basically the kind of thing you
do once or twice and then maybe recommend to a few people. It's not
really a fun buzz. So there's always people who still want it, but its
heyday is long over now."

Given that salvia isn't regulated, can he sell the muck to minors
without fear of legal repercussions? "Yeah, I can but I won't. I don't
want to see it become illegal, you know, if parents start complaining
about it and everything."

How many times a week does he get tourists walking in asking if he can
help get them straight with some weed? "In the summer, I'd say maybe
three times a day. The Americans especially, because they come here
and see people smoking openly on the street, so they're not sure if
it's legal or not. I usually tell them to just walk up the street to
the park or to ask somebody on the street for weed. I mean, it's never
hard finding pot in Montreal."

Last book read: Psychedelic Healing: The Promise of Entheogens for
Psychotherapy and Spiritual Development, by Neal Goldsmith.

Musical preferences: Pink Floyd, Cream, Ben Harper.

Words of wisdom: "Patience is a virtue, but waiting sucks."

The court ruled in her favor and now she can masturbate at work

BRAZIL, May 11, 2011.- A woman aged 36 was enabled by the justice to masturbate in her workplace because she has a strange disease.

This is the story of Ana Catarina Bezerra Silvares, an employee of an accounting firm, a divorced mother of three who lives in the village Vila Velha, Espírito Santo.

The woman suffers from a rare condition known as “compulsion orgasmic”, caused by a chemical alteration in the brain region of the cortex, which leads her to masturbate several times a day to relieve the deep anguish that it causes.

Under this circumstance, Bezerra started legal proceedings with the company where she works that eventually won and that enables to masturbate for 15 minutes every two hours, besides using the computer to see erotic images that stimulate her desire.

The Brazilian newspaper North Regiao reported that the woman confessed, “There was a day I had to masturbate 47 times”, adding: “I began to suppose that this could not be normal, and decided to seek help.”

Currently, Bezerra follows a treatment that includes a potent cocktail of sedatives which gets her to “only” masturbate 18 times a day.

The gazebo is off limits... Maybe a couple of people (or the dj booth) but there is a 3 foot by 3 foot hole in the floor and another hole is forming... Not really safe... I'll probably postpone but I'll see tomorrow. It will be cold also at 10 degrees.

I don't like blowing people's ear drums at my events. My goal is not to play the speakers at their maximum volume and spl. If Andromeda was any indication your outdoor speakers which are great for outdoor long throw events are not the best type of speakers for indoor locations. My goal is to have a reasonable but loud volume but allowing at the same time people to hear one another if they want to socialize. A lot of time with you guys and solotech I find I can not hear people who are screaming to me and people can't hear me when I'm screaming at them. This is a problem. The front throw speakers are more designed for this and even then never at full volume or ear crushing volume. Fact is there are millions of opinions and everyone likes something different. The PRX series are good enough for me. I do know there a lots of choices but I'm not sure one is really better then the other as long as people have fun and no one gets bleeding ears a party can be just as successful with either type of speakers.
