I've had my car searched numerous times while crossing in to the US. When they search the car, they take EVERYTHING out of the car. They'll do it whether I'm present or not.

A country is 100% in its right to tell a non-citizen how long they can stay in the country. If people do not want to deal with the searches or rules, then don't come here. The US treats Canadians like this, so Canadians are treating Americans the same way.

We didn't start this escalation, they did.

Nope, I've got an Irish name, I'm three kinds of white, I have American and Canadian passports and I'm primarily an English speaker.. I also give straight forward answers and usually don't give them any shit for asking me invasive questions in a rude manner.

Customs agents are specifically told to be rude and pushy, as it weeds out the troublemakers quickly.. if you start pushing back, they'll know who to investigate further. (so is their logic)

I didn't actually, but I'm also not paranoid about it and am totally fine with getting it. The only reason I didn't get it is because I haven't been sick in more than a decade and don't feel the need for it..

I'm just pissed off by all this paranoid bullshit I read online about people saying that vaccines aren't safe. Talk to a doctor and see what they say.

I'm not saying here that vaccination has not done wonders with some very dangerous diseases like measles, mumps, rubella, tetanus... but in those cases the benefits outweighs the risk, cus there are risks to vaccination. But for the cold? a virus that 99.99 % of healthy peoples ward off with some days off and chicken soup, It seems to me like injecting mercury, squaline and a list of other pathogens that are impossible to eliminate from the vaccine (vaccines are made with egg whites) would be unwise. Keep in mind that mercury is not illuminated by your body and actually accumulates in your brain and liver causing all sorts of funky results down the line.

So yeah, vaccines are a good thing when they address deadly or debilitating diseases, but for the cold, its not worth it.

Uhhh, Swine FLU is not a cold. A cold is quite different from influenza. When you get swine flu, it's like being hit by a truck.. for a week. Also, there are no significant risks to this vaccine. There are no smart minds questioning it's safety. Everyone that is fearful of it is basing this fear on other people's fear, who are basing it on people who don't know what the hell they're talking about. It's all a bunch of zombie minded crap.

People knew smoking was bad for you as far back as the 50s. The difference being, back then they didn't have access to today's medical knowledge, and they certainly weren't testing the way they do today.

Vaccines are very safe and very effective.

Do you know how much a Microgram is? Heh.. seriously?

1 Microgram = 0.00001 grams

So, if there's 25mcg of mercury "derivative", that shot is giving you 0.00025g of mercury "derivative".

Lets see..

4000 people in the US have died from Swine Flu this year..

Of the people who took the vaccine.. none have died.

It's been estimated that the swine flu will be around for 30 years or more.. which means, if you don't get the shot, you're likely to get swine flu sometime in your life.

So, to anyone who doesn't plan to get the shot.. Enjoy your week of sickness (and possibly death).

Yeah, I'm wrong.. along with, pretty much everyone else in the world.

Do a simple google search of "human hearing range" and you will see every single result telling you that humans can hear between 20 to 20,000Hz, where the upper range is almost exclusively for very young children, and that we lose our high frequency hearing with age.

It's more likely that you're hearing speaker distortion than actual 24kHz sounds. Human's can't hear that high.. you should go to a real hearing test done by a doctor with proper equipment if you wanna do a hearing test. I suspect you cannot hear about 19kHz as that would be very rare.

That's not how mp3 compression works actually..

Side note to cutter:

"my bass starts to rumbles at 2hz", no speaker accurately reproduces any sound below 10Hz (it's way too hard on the amp and requires a shitload of power. Trying to get any volume out at sub 40Hz frequencies will likely blow your speakers out), and you certainly can't *hear* anything even close to that, the lowest you can likely hear is 20Hz.

Hearing above 20kHz is considered rare for any adult since most adults over 25 can't hear past 16kHz..
