i used to go to school very close to there. i know the area pretty well though, alot of my friends are from around there.

i think i have been to ciociaro's before but not really sure. and yes they have amazing sandwitches at milanos, and thats the first place i tried a cold coffee. i used to play baby-foot there all the time too

I dont have any Juicy details on my origins, basically my Grandfather and Great Grand Father were both Free Masons which creeps me the fuck out because of all the conspiracy revolving around those dudes. He was an Irish immigrant who married a Quebecois (my grandmother) and spawned my immediate family, which happens to be huge and extremely talented in every case. My Father side was Polish and Jewish. Never got to know my know my fathers side at all, pretty sad actually. My great great aunt Eva Gauthier ( my mothers inspiration) was a world known Stage Performer and she sang and wrote music with the likes of Henry Mancinni and Gershwin. Thats something I'd like to explore more! :)

you're the closest to the same ansestery that i have. My Grand mother was irish catholic and she married a french canadian. From what i know now, most of my family were Free Masons, and still are, most still living to this day.

My family, if you think about it, has the same history of the romeo and julliette story. My mother side pure irish catholic, and my fathers side being the half british half scottich prodistion(sorry cant spell for shit, but i hope you all understand). My mother and father always had problems from my mothers parents because of the religion, from my fathers side they never had a chance, since my grandparents from my fathers side never made it past the age of 35 i believe.

to that hitler responds " well peter, i would kill 60 000 jews, and a clown"

"why a clown?" peter asks

hitler" See, nobody cares about the jews!"

well yeah it is, montreal has to be the best (or worst) in everything. i've had friends get ticketed for drinking in a park, and they told me it sucks... just drink in your appartement, or in a bar.

now the problem is getting a ticket for pissing in public

actually it does

one buisness will in fact take away from the other. ive worked in resturants all my life and whenever one resturant opens up right next door or across the street, it does in fact take away from the buisness. even though the prices are different and the food is different, people always like to try new things.

first of all i didnt say worked for one company and work for another company.

but also if you knew, coke and pepsi both own each others shares, so using thoes companies are irelevant (sorry i dont know how to spell). being an employee and being a consultant are completely different things.

im saynig that if you franchaise a buisness(or own your own) that whatever you learned in that first buisness, you are not able to use inside that second buisness as a owner or an employee, and being given a share of the profits makes you part owner of that second company.

maybe you should learn how to use sarcasm alittle better, you sound like a 14 year old trying to make fun of his geeky friend.

and yes consultants usually work one place at a time, but also it is possible that you can be both an owner and a consultant. maybe if you were an employee, it would be impossible to be a consultant, but if you own your own company, what person in their right mind would give away the secrets of their own company.

"You won't ever see someone working for a company giving advice to a competitor. "
and if you didnt understand what i just wrote ill sum it up for you.

you'll have to be a complete idiot to give away you're companies secrets to a competor

"right, so explain to me why it's ok for me to work for a competitor as a consultant, but not as an employee?"

not for me to answer, but there is a big difference between a employee and a consultant.

as a consultant you are there to give ideas, and thoughts. taking the ideas of someone that you are consulting and making them better or more resonable. an employee uses everything he has learned in his past, and adds it to what he is doing at the new place.

employees are bound to their employers to do whatever they ask them to do (to a certain degree or coarce), but a consultant can chose wether or not to do something that he sees that is wrong. a consultant is not oblidged to use all his information, training etc... to help out a competitor for what he wants to do.

if you look at any consultant, in any field, you know that they work for direct competitors, and the people that hire them know that.

its like someone working for cambell's (crappy soup but its an example), and then opening their own buisness with the cambell's recipe and just changing the name of the product, there are many laws against stuff like that
