i had a ticket for 545$ for speeding on the high way. the cop wrote 2 completely different times, the wrong highway, and he also pulled me over a second time to correct the fact that the time was wrong. i contested it, which took over 2 years to get a court date, but thats besides the point.

anyways, i was contesting on the fact that there was no way i was on that other highway just because that intersection never existed. but as soon as my case was braught up, the first thing the prosecuter said to the judge was that she noticed a mistake on the ticket but that shouldnt affect the ruling based on the fact that they caught me with a radar.

so long story short, i lost and have to pay 660$ now... 120$ court fee (not 10$ thierry)
so yes you can contest it, and you wont have to waste any money right now, but once you lose say 2 years from now, you have to pay at least 75-100$ more and only once that is payed, will you start the 2 years without your full points.

just my 2 cents, do what you want, but in two years from now you will have your points back if you just pay it now.

and murdock_rock: if he doesent show for the first date, the court is allowed to change dates at least 2 times, maybe 3 which give the cop a chance to actually have a day off, and will show on one of he days.

what i did, is that you have to up-load a photo to your profile, and when its there, in your setting under the photo's you should have the option to use that as your avatar

when its in your profile... go to settings, select images on the left side of your screen, once there find the photo, and on the right of the photo it has a button that says make main, and that will make it your avatar
