I don't like christmas. I don't believe in the traditions that go aloong with it: SAnta Claus, christmas tree, and all that jazz. It appears to be pointless, even less than pointless to convince children into beleiving in something that does not exist. there's much much better ways to help a child's capacity to reason to develop. And then wether we cut down a real tree, or get a fake one, it's so ridiculous-- fakes ones, waste of time, energy, resources, and prob. pollutes the environment to make them.. and cutting down real trees for a few moments of bliss-- argh. we need our trees living. And like my uncle said, children can much more easily name the 8? reindeers than 8 types of trees that exist... esti que ca fait laid.. |
