Well once you've spotted a decent location, the main thing to do is work undercover. Move in the gear all at once. Use minimal rigs. Make sure sound doesn't leak out to attract attention.

DO NOT ADVERTISE the location on the web nor on info-lines for they can be looked up by anyone. Contact the peeps by e-mail or phone and tell them to meet at some pre-determined check point (not the actual venue). Gather ALL people and move them into the venue in one shot.

Don't let no one out until the end of the party or early in the morning. You don't want to raise suspision by having people wanted around the venue uselessly.

Have a lookout to spot incomming copers and just try to lay low.

It should be doable with some pre-planning. The only problem is taking the risk (but this is the fun part) and being ready to face the consequences if you get busted. Squatting a building is illegal so ain't no legal loophole gonna get you out of that but as long as you aren't being assholes with the cops, if they come, you might just be able to pull it off.

Hmmm sound like the scenario of a movie I saw awhile ago... can't remeber the title though. :)

Funny how in the article they mention 54000 cans were stolen in the beginning and later re-state that the truck contained 4200 dozen cans...

Do the math: 4200 * 12 = 50400

SP2 = Service Pack 2 for Windows XP

It's an upgrade/downgrade depending on your system and the software you use. It's supposed to give you better security and the likes but many have experienced horror as they've installed the EViL package.

The UEM crew has explored some interesting underground locations in MTL such as the CCUM steam network tunnels and the Peel Pub building basement. Each location has a full pictoral of their adventures. It's a pretty good time killin' site, check it out:

Others sections include abandoned, occupied and misc locations. Check out the main site:

Well known fact? No, so sure what you mean. What did happen to mdma production after 1989?

There never was a commercial production of mdma since the Merck pharmaceutical company filed for a patent in 1912. Only underground usage of the substance was conducted by the army, some therapists and few niches of people wanting to try something new.

I base what I say upon experiences I read from many users on such sites as [ erowid.org ] and Alexander and Ann Shulgin book's Pihkal. I've took my fare share of mdma to know that alot of what is called "mdma" today ain't nowhere near what it used to be and is mostly cut with other substances.

If by purity you mean that the chemical reaction to produce the synthesized molecule 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine gave a rendering of 100% then no I have never done such pure mdma. Such purity is hard to achieve, specially in an underground lab. But the other hand, I have done uncut mdma that probably wasn't 100% pure but was still mdma. So based on my experiences and those of others I've read and heard of, I'm pretty confident of what I took to now that is was mdma.

My first time at the Aria and I was impressed with the setup. Lots of comfortable leather seating, a nice mezzanine, kick ass sound and an original lighting rig.

Yaz sucked big time but then again, it was to be expected.

Infected just destroyed the place. It's been a long time since I heard a live act actually mix their tracks together and fuck around alot more with the tunes than most live acts I've heard this summer. They played alot of their good tracks, some Skazi tracks and remixes, I beleive I heard some void too. They put on a great show and I am going for sure to see them again this october.

Preach was ok but could've cranked it up another notch .

Twas a nice saturday night/sunday morning. :)

Well 1000+ people parties are nice too. You just can't beat huge moving light rigs and the towers of speakers but once in awhile smaller parties are a nice break from those huge anonymous pools of party goers.

And as for the so called group drama... consider ditching the instigators of shit from the group.

Still love and listen to all thoses styles although I haven't listenned to much jungle.

I must say, however, I went to this party called Electronik High (the first one) held at a loft in St-Henri and stayed in the DnB/Jungle room for awhile. Couldn't stop dancing. Got any suggestions of good jungle to listen to?

I rememver a time where raves were a once a month thing. They were mostly held in crappy warehouses or other obscure locations. Pure mdma was the drug of choice and people didn't care what DJ was playing.

Nowadays with 2-3 raves of all sorts per week and a more mainstream crowd, people tend to get bitchy and picky about the music, the location, the DJs, the crowd, the deco, the whatever... you name it.

No wonder the concept of PLUR just died more or less and people are just too jaded.

If you want to regain that oldschool spirit in parties just do like I do. Throw your own little underground parties with no more than 100 peeps. Advertise by word of mouth and hand pick the people. It just takes a few people to organise and a few dollars to pull off. You'd would be amazed at the results you can get.
