Boy was I releived to know that venue was actually a new BINGO hall on St-Jacques... for awhile I thought it would be the other bingo hall right next to the Canadian Tire. This new place has alot more room for a huge crowd.

The deco, the vibe and the party were really nice. Skhighwalker's set should've been earlier cuz the music was a little to tek for a little too long but hey, thats just me.

Hope to see more parties like this in 2005.

Expect a musical progression troughout the day: smoother music (not too smooth though :) ) until late in the afternoon then, harder stuff and psy will be played at night so feel free to come and chill for awhile, go get some reat, and come back at night for the party til 3am :)

Ghetto venue indeed... felt like a party from '98-99. The place was pretty cold and empty at the beginning but it wasn't long until the temperature self-regulated itself with all the peeps dancing. Props to Zaid K and Drizzt for their awsome sets and to the D&B djs for spinning in the freeze room :) Thanx to Alien Crew for throwing yet another great party!

I asked the promoter why we had to change venue and here is what happenend. The cops first came to the place cuz they had gotten a sound complaint call from someone living close by. As they inspected the place, they realized that there was the sale of alcool. Problem was that this venue did have a permit to sell boose but as a restaurant... That changes everything cuz contrary to a bar license, he had to sell food with the boose otherwise he was violating his permit.

So basically, the owner of the venue was just being a bitch and HE wanted to end the party for fear of getting more shit from the cops. Apparently, the promoter told me, it took everything to get the owner to let the party happen until 3am... time after which he decided to pull the plug and let everyone out of the place.

So there you have it. Kinda sucked to have the party cut right in the middle like that but the move to Le Chill just made the party better I think :)

Nice! I actually stumbled into this event last night when me and j00boy headed in this building to explore. Boy were we surprised to find a bunch of people and some music in the place after following the trail of candles hehehe.

Yeah seriously, that big fire was well appreciated. It was a nice touch by the organisers. Props!

Eat the shrooms with chocolate if ya don't like the taste. A lipton cup-a-soup will do the job too.

Do shrooms, smoke some weed and go have a walk in the woods or anywhere outside. At night is preferable but since its getting kinda chilly doing it during the day is not a bad idea either.

For some interesting visual effects, go have a walk down a long and straight hallway such as the one at metro Bonnaventure going into the Complexe Guy-Favreau. As you walk, look straight ahead to the end of the tunnel. This should create a nice zoom-in zoom-out effet that is only enhanced by the shrooms.

Try that for starters.

This was a pretty good party. Nice deco, good music, lots nice people. I had lots of fun.

Who cares if California Sunshine or Kindzadza weren't there.... well actually I do. I especially wanted to hear Kindzadza but them stupid plane crashes in Russia had to fuck it all up. Ah well, shit happens. I just hope Kagdila and Spiral Recordz will make up for this by bringing this guy back for another party. Mashed Potatoes was good, he played pretty sweet tracks.

The location was pretty cool. The sand pit/beach next to a small lake kept the dance floor nice and compact... no goddam mud ;) Sand is a must if anyone is thinking of throwing an outdoor party. It saved alot of nastiness at this party and at Eclipse at the beginning of the month.

There is just one very negative point I would like to express since it could've fucked up the party pretty bad. The deco setup was rigged with two scaffolding towers that held up ropes from which colored sheets where hanging. This gave the dance floor a nice visual look but one important thing was missing... Fucken safety pins that hold each scaffolding section fastenned together. During the night, one of the towers crashed because of wind and some guy got it straight on the head. He seemed to be ok but it could've been alot worse. There could've been more people and bigger injuries. Also, the towers didn't seemed to be safely secured to the ground to prevent such events from happenning.

I don't what asshat rigged this up, but next time make sure you know what you are doing.

Word to the promoters: hire technicians who know what they are doing (i.e.: Kloda Games and Amusements 514-343-5000 -> [ www.klodagames.com ] Big or small rigs can be dangerous if not setup correctly. This incident could've cost you a lot more than you bargained for but fortunatly nothing extremely bad happened.

So there you have it.
