M y favorite way to party hop a bunch of hash (that's extend a chunk to a gathering of like 12 -20 people is to ice-cream-cone it.

Thats where you (need soft hash) flatten it out as thin as is humanly possible, cut it into the right shape and form it into a cone shape. The cone is turned upside down and set on top of a wire structure designed to hold its shape. The bottom of the cone gets lit like inscense and the top gets a small hole poked into it..

The smoke will reverse it's direction and begin to roll inwards under the cone, and up through the hole once somone has pulled at the air a bit above.. lasting long enough for like 15-20 people to line up and get a couple hits each..

They didnt shut it down.. they just told us to turn the music OFF. Not lower the volume to an "agreeable level" .. OFF COMPLETELY.

Sure enoughg tho.. twenty minutes later we turned it back on a low volume and then slowly over the final two hours the volume got raised a bit a a time until Noah agreed to allow the final three songs to go at full volume once again! Thanks Noah.

You dont HAVE to talk to people you dont like.

oops got 4 in there twice.. ah well..

Thought of another one.. allow search for an event by music genre. I'd like event sorting by happy hardcore or oldschool etc. So I'll only have to evaluate parties containing music im into.

1. enable gif uploads. Animated gif avatars allowed please.. :) I use more than 1 image type depending on application..

2. Sort gallery + event images by number of comments..

3. Auto spell check for a specific dictionary of words including dj names, store and venue names etc. I hate seeing Psychonaut mispelled. LOL

4. Autolinking of known(libraried) names with urls to their websites... not everyone knows urls.. and it's handy for event descriptions to contain linkage.

4. New Replied Threads... Make it display a set number rather than just those on page 1.. (remember we spoke a bit about this in the morning after your party)

5. Change [ link ] to [ url ] ... every other ubb site uses url.. could never figure out why you use link instead..

6. Allow title linking.. or does that already work..? eg: [ [ whatever.com ] ]Name goes here[ /url ]

7. Um dont allow parties/event to be posted without details. What a pain to see an event listed with many attendies and absolutely not a single scrap of info about what the event is about.. argh heh

Yeh trick is to have steaming hot water going the whole time.. making the air more moisture rich.. hot/wet. Coming out of the bathroom is like a wave transition.. the cool air hits you solidly.

some blue shrooms by themselves is plenty to appreciate the music like 800% more. The mdma is optional if you've got someone special coming with ya who is open to lots of hugging.. I don't find mdma/mdas do much for the dance portion of the night for me.. Merely make communicating while not dancing more fluid.

Blue shrooms... mmmmmm

I'm sure youre all aware of Andre and [ ] However if you're not.. He's the number one place to buy party tickets, to get the scoop on the evenings happenings and to talk about anything from salvia to seeds.

The thing is.. poor andre over there isnt taking advantage of his mailing list. He's only got 15 people in it so far!

He's not used to mailing lists yet and itll be a while before he can work up a routine to sending out like daily scheduled emails.. But I'm sure that once the list gets going and he gets into it, it'll become an invaluable resource to the community.

So [ ] up folks! Support your local [ ]

I secretly rave on the metro after all night parties.. It's funny how much the repetitive sound of the metro rolling at high speeds sounds just like rave music after you've spent 8-12 hours immersed in high decibal audio..

Hey people, I'm getting into the flyer business a bit, designing and conceptualizing some upcoming parties flyers as well some other things..

I have a few questions, since I'm not convinced that the current most used format is the best or attractive alternative. I'm of a mind that if it doesent fit into my pocket, I won't take it. But thats me. I wanna take 6 for giving to friends.

Which leads me to a few questions I'd like to poll you all on:

1. What dimensions of paper do you prefer:
a) Business Card
b) Single Folded Business card (twice size of 1)
c) Double Folded Business card (thrice size of 1)
d) Poster Card (thats the one youre used to)
e) Banner/Bookmarker Card
f) Cutout/Abnormal Shaped/Kaleidescopic keepsake card..

2. Do you like flyers to have an area available for you to write things on? Specifically one which will accept both pencil or pen lines easily?

3. Do you like them to be double sided? Info on both sides? Should the info on the backside be more important than the info on the frontside, or vice versa? Should the info be doubled up, contained on both sides?

4. Point out the ones you like and give more info if you like:

--PAPERS--
Glossy (laminated feel)
Textured (graininess to paper)
Mute (non reflective)
Metal Foiled (metal inking to catch light)
Perforated (a flyer=6 pop-off miniflyers -eg)
Clear Tinted Plastics
A combo of two of the above?

--INFORMATION--
Divided into a cover and a details (front/back)
Predominent Date/Ticket Locations/Info line
Predominent Artists/Music Genres
Generalized venue area info in advance
Deco/UV details
Doubling up of info (front to back)
Info on how the event is different than others..

--IMAGERY--
Girls/Guys from the scene
Abstract Psychedelics
Landscapes/Seascapes/Spacescapes
Vibe Suggestive Objects
Musical/Dance/Motion imagery
other?

--OTHERs--
Should the door fee be announced on the flyer?

--OPTIONAL--
How important is multi-dated ticket purchasing prices?

What has been your favorite venue?(location)

Who are youre #1 favorite DJ's in each of your favorite music genres?

Who is your favorite VJ?
