Well I used to think that it couldn't be anything else, but in my crazy little world I never thought of it as Happy Hardcore for the simple fact that it didn't follow the Happy hardcore music structure or share anything much in common with the genre other than the fact that it was at a BPM of +170. I just always thought of it as very fast j-pop.

Singing along to music. If I know a song, I'll start singing along. If it has no vocals I'll whistle. What's worse though is that I sing along when I'm listening to music on my ipod and then I turn around and check to see if there's anyone around me. i dread the day i turn around and there's someone there laughing at me =P

But apart from that, has anyone else noticed that after the past few years of repairing escalators in various stations they are now worse? Yeah they'll stop from time to time, but what I'm mostly talking about is that they go SO SLOW. I'm talking, you have to stare at it for a while to realize that it's moving. It's fucking ridiculous, they spend all those years fixing escalators and then they're slower than they ever were before.

And this may seem a bit left field, but I have to give a shout out to those exhibitionist types on the metro XD One time my boyfriend and I were going somewhere on the green line and this guy got on, sits down across from us and spreads his legs and has the HUGEST package I have ever seen with clothes on. I'm talking "hello, i just stuck an entire shirt down my pants" huge. I mean it was SO noticeable we couldn't stop staring and the more we stared the more he'd try and like position himself so we could get a better view and stare back at us since it was obvious we were talking about him lol. Then when we got off he just smiled as if he was very pleased with himself.

And don't get me started with the creepy guys that regularly expose themselves to my girlfriends... (which I noticed ONLY happens on the green line)

It's not that bad living in Ahuntsic. Well I don't technically live there but I'm there a good portion of the week (having a boyfriend and a ton of friends living there) and it is a nice neighborhood. Doesn't take too long to get to anywhere if you know your busses.

You've pretty much summed up how I think of dressing Candy. It's just something fun to do, although a lot of people don't like it because of the effort involved. I mean unless you have a lot of braclets, you gotta make them, and fuck thinking of designs sometimes takes ages. Then whatever accesories you wanna add on and what not, I mean to anyone who's never done it they probably don't realize it, but it's a lot of work, hence why I'm lazy and just don't bother a lot of the time (and all the bracelets is not the most confortable thing in a hot sweaty rave). I mean you don't gotta be candied up to be PLUR ;P

But basically I do find it like dressing up as a sort of fun theme kinda thing, kind of in the same vein as Halloween. Plus I don't have to worry about about the whole "guys dressed in candy look like fags! OMGWTFH4X0RZ" considering I am =P *rolls eyes*

btw, the whole hater thing is just tired people. I don't understand why people care in the first place why someone they don't know is dressed like a freaking bag of skittles. Live and let live, I mean you don't see anyone complaining that you look like everyone else.

Plus with all the success last year's Rewire got, I would hope that it does even better this year.
