windows tends to have more latency probs with audio hardware than macs do.. at least in my experience..

Ive seen more audio problems with audio on windows machines period...
macs had a latentcy issue only with a certain build of the asio driver in os 9.1 but 9.2 and up meaning os x there has been little problems with latency. it was a firmware issue with the os 9 and .1 usb firmware build... that was resolved a long time ago...
