Funny, seeing as your the one who came in and started arguing with neofag and who seems to think that going to parties for longer than someone or that spinning vinyl instead of CDs is a status symbol of how much a person knows, how important the are or how skilled they are.

People who think that there's some kind of raver status to uphold are people who aren't in "the scene" because they love music, but because they want to apear more important than someone and are desperately to prove how much more "hardcore" and "real" they are to everyone so that they'll get treated with more "respect" than they deserve.

Frankly, if you read some of the threads going on, respect is the one thing you WON'T get from ANYONE here if you come in with a pompous, self-righteous attitude like you did. So do yourself a favor and take your head out of your ass and play nice with others or be prepared to face a non-stop barrage of flames from, like, everyone.

I thought Denham was from Kalamazoo... as far as I know he's the guy behind Black Nation [ www.black-nation.com ] I'm pretty sure he played at Sector 616, but I'm also pretty sure I missed his set 'cause there was so much going on. As for Murat... I've got a copy of The Experiment somewhere... which is a pretty crazy mix. Ah... I remember the days when people like Himadri, Murat, Huren and such were kings of the techno landscape... then, suddenly, everybody had a first and last name.

It was beautiful when it was anonymous.

As for DJs ripping off artists when they play vinyl - that's why I don't sit back and play tracks... some people think it's disrespectful to the artist's work to chop it up, but the guys who make the records seem to like it... at least that's what they tell me.
