This party was, as my friend Matt said:

"Simply out of this world ...
Mind blowing ...
Attitude free ...
Vibe exploding ...
Colorful as hell ...
Of ALL ages ...
Wet and muddy ...
PURE FUN!!"

So yeah there were some downsides but we still had a blast, was worth the about 6 hour drive!!! :)

Daemon dude, i guess my sense of time is a little distorted... looks like the tent was stolen AFTER you guys packed and split.

no wonder... i think at that point there was NOBODY around there. peeps were at the goa stage, down at the river, packing or gone. so i guess someone decided it was a good time to take a lone tent.

anyone see anybody packing a litttle lonely tent?

ah well... shit happens i suppose. i agree with the ottawa dude the party was nice, it could just use more people, more sun, and less distance :)

and now i gotta get back to work or my bosses will slow-fry me

Getting to this event was adventure for sure. The fog was @ times scary, but now I can laugh about it. Yes there was tons of mud @ this party. I knew it was going to be a muddy weekend. I was glad that the rain did not come down very hard, but it did get some people’s stuff very wet. Dave I have to say thank you for the huge tent that you setup near our village (yes you should bring it to other out door events). The power supply was @ times fucked up. The river was fun, but a place to shower off would have been better. The fact that the free water ran out did suck near the end. IDJ crew gets props from me for dealing with what they had. From what people where telling me you guys rocked….I only popped in from time to time. The Goa area was fun. I was loving the music on Sunday day ….danced for about 4 hours before leaving for Montreal (I have no idea where I got the energy from?). My friend Andrew had a wicked ass time. Fred it was great going for that wacky walk.

Basic review…wicked music, people and vibe

Was Great seeing allot of people from rave wave and from other parties that I had gone too. The few people that i meet from Ottawa you rock:)

The person or persons who took Fredo’s tent…you suck hardcore and what are you doing in the scene?

I spent the weekend REALLY drunk, and had a great time. My body is now one big sunburn, except for my penis which is still pale and white.

Nimi finished off the weekend spending 2 hours talking about her balls....

and that was my weekend.

Yah, for all the people saying the party sucked, here's all I have to say:

If you expected more from a $15 3-day event, then you're not the most realistic person in the world.

Ok, the drive was nuts. Fog like crazy! Looked like a horror movie. (I should have brought a machette and a hockey mask for a little stop in the town.)

Finding a place that was acceptable for the tents and had lots of room around wasn't that easy to do at 12:30 pm when the generator for the "first" area kept dying every 5 minutes, but we managed to set up the stuff. Went out, danced, had fun, found Lee, Charlie, Carl and Andrew. Chilled, danced, drank, etc.Went to try and sleep. Charlie and Nimi showed up right as I was dozing off. Everyone got up. We set up the huge tent. Carl made a flagpole for the pirate flag. I slept in the big tent for an hour and a half.

Went into town for a "real" meal with Nimi added to the bunch. Got to a restauraunt, ordered food, rain started, power went out.

Back to the party, more mud everywhere. Rain on Dave's sleeping bag. Went around, talked to people, danced a little. Had a dissagreement with shrooms. Liam helped that go away. Spent the night at the IDJ setup except for a few trips back and forth to the tent for some peeps that were hungry and had no food with them. Did that "E" thing for Charlie and started spinning him around up in the air.

Galaksy's sets kicked fuckin' ass! Everyone was great! Nitrous was amazing! Galaksy's morning set totally made my weekend.

My one complaint? The swiming area. I was expecting somewhere where I could at least submerge myself and swim with a little bit of a beach-like area for people to chill. But we still found a great spot to sit in the water for a while.

All you people that thought the party sucked need to start being better prepared for the out-doors and for potentially bad weather. Or maybe don't get so fucked off your ass that you can't tell where you are. For 15$ we got 3 days of party with amazing DJs.

Oh and, Doc, you ever figgure out who all the clothes you were wearing belonged to? :) I was laughing my ass off when you were talking about that sunday morning.

this was lotsa fun
very far drive tho, almost fell asleep driving back
rain while mixing was a new experience
the lightning at the beginning of the night was freaky...
great vibes, thank g-d for that bug spray

why did 1 turntable not have a ground wire?
funny thing about that balls story,
SOuth park is back on global (woohoo!),and sunday nite it was the episode where mr garrison teaches the new teacher (mrs chokesondick) todeal with the kids
and so the best line is:
when the children tell u to suck their balls,
u must say
present them

and thats my 2 cents for today

chocolate salty balls!

and thanks to all+promotors, phil, idj fam, etc...
very much needed outdoor relief!

Oh yeah, as I was leaving on sunday, someone in charge thought I was with you guys and came to bitch that the IDJ crew had left his JBL speakers and his pioneer amp on the table alone and unguarded for 3-4 hours and was rather pissed off at it.

why was the table not grounded in the IDJ room ? who actually owns a turntable with no ground and still use it for personal use or parties ???

the party wasn't too bad, I could live with the mud and all.

it was fucking far though. cost me more in gas than the cover charge.

nonetheless music was sort of sweet. biodegradable was mind-blowing...which says a lot since I don't particularly like goa.

it would be fun to have an outdoor party on a venue where you're allowed to park your car NEXT TO YOUR TENT for once because having to drag your shit back to it being 3 kilometers away from your tent while strung out on sunday under the baking sun is an experience I am NOT looking forward to next time.
