We brought our daughter to eclipse a few years ago, she was 8, she had a awesome time. If you did a good job your kids will make good decisions, show them honesty trust and openness and youll get the same in return.

Actually dubstep is the new electro,

Hating on dubstep is a bit passé though, nothing gets accomplished by dissing other genres

Its all electronic music at the end of the day

Yeah but what if of all vegetables, you dislike broccoli the most ? is that a bit passé too considering It's all food at the end of the day ?

Today we diss dubstep, tomorrow psy. Trance next week. We can't all love EVERY musical style out there. Different strokes for different people I guess. :)

But I do admit I have an aversion to dubstep as well. No matter how hard I try, all I can hear is 120 bpm Drum&Bass. That's like slowing down happy hardcore considerably, calling it Happystep or something and everyone loving it and saying how new, fresh and innovative it is. :/

I'm not a big fan of either dubstep or trance. But I still manage to find some good in both.

I guess it annoys when people are like "Oh I hate breaks" or "I hate acid house" which are styles I enjoy personally

Its like I'm pretty sure you could find SOME breaks and SOME acid house to like. Its all part of the electronic music family after all

Besides all those styles are still fighting against a commercial pop monopoly. Those are the people you need to fight...The people who subject the masses to the Rihannas and the Lady Gagas day in and day out

If you're gonna hate on something call your local radio station and ask them why we HAVE to listen to this awful music all day.

Honestly my dream since I was a kid was to hijack a commercial radio station and lock my self in with a good supply of the most insane music I can find and some food to hold out the siege
I'm feeling sunshine right now..

ya when I started out, I used to DJ a lot of art shows. and sometimes people would be like "nah we don't really like jungle - it's gonna kill the vibe" etc etc.. and I can't say I blame em.. they figured I was gonna play either jump up Congo Natty and Aphrodite anthems, super fast mashup ragga, or techstep. cuz back then, that was what most jungle/D&B DJs in Toronto played. but when I got on, I played early atmospheric breakbeats by LTJ Bukem, Photek, Crystl, 4 Hero and Omni Trio. and guess what? people who thought they didn't like jungle danced to it and loved it.

so it's ridiculous to say an entire genre sucks. even Happy Hardcore. I'm not a fan of the genre. especially that fucking Raver Raver Raver song - lol. *however* there are still some HHC tracks I've heard that I like. especially the early stuff in 93/94 when hardcore split into jungle and happy hardcore

it's true. I was getting a drive back from MTL and the stuff that gets played on the radio is just fucking awful. it melts my brain. I must've heard that Rihanna - Rudeboy song about 3 or 4 times on that one trip alone. plus all this other crap.. Pink and Kesha.. it all sounds the same to me. luckily we finally found this college radio show where this record nerd was playing obscure Beatles b-sides.
