I did indeed. It's hard for me finding people to party with. I'm older now and don't have to energy/time/commitment to go out every weekend. I've lived here for close to two years now and only really get out when one of my friends in is town playing out.
Thought I'd look here for cool people to hang with, but I've received mostly guff from, what appear to be, sexually frustrated guys who are giving their best attempt at being cool?
I've been aroung the scene since the mid 90's. I'm old but not out of touch. I've worked in the scene for many years and traveled quite a bit as a result.
Montreal is a brilliant city. I love it. It's very open, warm, & accepting. Strange that a rave board should be so standoffish. Especially since that it's supposed to be one of the more open and accepting counter-cultures. I guess things have changed quite a bit. |
