JULY 31st 2010 10 pm - 6 am BLOOD ON MY NIKES Osheaga Afterparty Featuring: RISK - Live Dubstep act RISK is a live dubstep ensemble filling the gap between the traditional band, the electronic live act and the dj set. It blends all the possibilites of electronic music into one non-stop high-energy performance. Risk tunes start out on a laptop as purely elecronic, mostly dubstep tunes. These tracks then get all risked up, changing up the drum, basslines and adding vocals. At that point it gets somewhat complicated to classify. Gen brings R'n'B, soul and pop influence, Plecko, reggae rythms, Sourultrafast part death metal part funk and wally... well he doesn't want you to know but he used to be a psytrance dj. Hard to describe how it sounds like but somehow, it all becomes coherent when coming at you in the form of heavy bass music.
