BUT Killing is better than letting someone live a shitty life. :) (yup, I also support euthanasia) I'm not saying this should be taken as a contraception device, because at the moment you get pregnant, there are hormonal changes in your body, and when you abort, it can take some time for your body to reajust. Which means emotional and physical instability for a while, which isn't fun. So OK for abortion, but you have to use other methods to not get pregnant at first ;) Besides, there are way too much humans around. It's becoming dangerous for the whole ecosystem. So I'm pro-sterilization too ;) Heck, I'd be chopped if the doctors would let me, but I'm too young and they don't do it until you're 30... Also, those religions who think "multiply" is a golden rule should get a smack in the head, and a big dose of reality... It was ok to have lots of kids 1000 years ago, 3/4 of them would die anyways, but now, it's getting out of hand... -__-; |

The option is available, a personal decision can be made, it can be devastating but it can also be for the best of all parties concerned. I don't think that anyone should morally judge or placate this option if they are not concerned, as it is a deeply personal one. The ramifications of this type of decision reach far beyond the scope of what most of us can understand, even if it is the desired action, this type of decision can run very deep into someones life; as can the alternative. In the end, there are only so many scenarios that could really make someone appreciate the option, and far less to make someone take it for granted. Religious and uninformed or bias views may deplore the existence of this procedure, but like so many others, this procedure really only concerns those who chose to take it, period. We let people make decisions for us every day, and freely accept their judgments, but as a people of the 21st century, we have the ability to make some seriously personal ones that we have never had before, and for that, we should be thankful and respectful.
