Sure, suicide/self destruction is a form of weakness. But I'm sometimes wondering who are the best people, the ones who can't handle this way of life, can't lie to themselves good enough to play this crazy game, or the ones who conform to it. Not saying I'm acting in one way or the other...things aren't always all black or white. I just know that it can be really confusing sometimes and that it's not always easy to make the right choices. |

Saying it's "taking control" of your life by killing yourself is like saying an anorexic is in control... Most of the time, suicide is being overwhelmed by depression...it's your true self giving up to an emotion that has grown out of control. But I do agree that it's not always "weakness". As I said, nothing is ever all black or white. And even when it's a form of weakness, I think we all have our up and downs. Don't think there's many good reasons for suicide though (I know I'd like to die if I was in a vegetative state, for instance). |
