 Coolness: 2603945 | There is a Rosemont cop who has a grudge on the owner. He thought it was more important to stop our small party from happening when all cops in the area got a called to go to st Laurent because someone got shot and died. He actually said this. When I tried to talk to him in my native language of English he told me if I speak in English he can choose not to understand me. He would not stop talking about a party which happened at the same location end of January which resulted in 700 people throwing beer bottles at cop cars and the cops. He also said the cops have been there every weekend which is impossible since we were the first event since that incident in January. About 50 cops were there, and raided the place and took all the money from the promoter. It was a mini riot. They were selling alcohol though (which we did not). We didn't get any fine or anything. But he was treating us like that because we rented the same location as this thing which happened. I will investigating because it was unjustly shut down. For a noise complaint we could have always turned down the volume. This one particular cop just wants to cause trouble and hopefully something will happen to him as I'm going to make a formal complaint and I will also get the report which was made. |

try getting 3 tracks into your set, on what i have to admit was a very sick sounding system (props noah) and getting tapped on the shoulder by officer buzzkill and being told to kill the music. :( there was absolutely no reason given to me from the police aside from: "we've had a lot of problems with this space". |
