Yes it is a young audience, the lyrical themes are not aimed at adults (although some do appreciate it anyways... which is kinda like watching lion king on repeat when you're 35 though). It can serve as an introduction to accepting electronic music as whole... hell a whole lot of people bashed jump up and harder/darker sides of dnb a while back... but if it had not been for dnb remixes of nine inch nails I wouldn't be djing/producing/promoting dubstep... and I'd probably still be shunning away electronic music for dumbass reasons like... oh its made with machine which makes it automatically inferior so do what YOU like, don't try and make anyone happy with your art, say what you want to say the way you wanna say it and stop worrying about how anyone else says what they say I dunno man, it sounds like you've been doing too much homework, I think I got a little lost in your words there for a second... what I'm trying to say is that it's ok to hate a style of music, so much so that you publicly denounce it, not only because it's your right, but because it may one day influence some one to grab a gun and blown their retarded brains out for having wasted years listening to horrible music... no, wait a second... what I meant to say was that negative criticism can as constructive and sometimes even more constructive than the positive kind, but the attitude of saying that anything can be art only goes so far, sometimes it's not art, it really isn't... or is it?
