Mind you, I dont load it on every tack of a 50 stereos tracks session, but i will frequently use it on say, 5 to 15 objects/tracks. If it's loading your cpu, you can press the "proc" button in the bottom left corner and it will free up your cpu and bring the latency to 0.

je catch pas... c'est sync... tu peux juste pas automater la vitesse sync genre 1/2 1/4 1/8 ect |
Good [+1]Toggle ReplyLink» rawali replied on Thu Dec 17, 2009 @ 7:53pm |
I'm feeling lovely right now.. |

It's fine for projects early on but when I'm almost done a track (maybe 50-100 insert effects and 20 VSTis by then) adding a few MasterQs can give me trouble. I'll try the proc thing though. |

You could also just bounce all your audio tracks down to WAV if things get too CPU intensive..

Computer still struggles...My tracks have a lot of layers. There's no way I could ever master a track without exporting a wav first LOL Maybe on a quad core |

Everytime someone mentions freezing vst, I feel my pre-icore7 memories wrap their frail little pentium 3 fingers around my neck and choke me just enough to barf a 'lil in my own mouth.
I remember having to freeze around 10 vsts 7-8 minutes each... I had time to follow Peter Petrelli's latest adventures on the tube while doing so.

Cubase - I'm sure it's self-conscious and learns how to piss ppl off in their own special way.

Listen you fuckin nerds, how does fxpansion work with pc vst's???
I don't understand how it works, it doesn't detect pc vst's, when I thought that was the whole purpose... |

I think no matter what CPU I'll have I'm gonna max it out. I try to avoid freezing channels but by the time a track is almost done there's no way around it. So many VSTis and inserts...
Deadfunk: the pirated version of Massive crashes a lot, the real one doesn't |
