I've had people show up at my parties after about 4am expecting to get in for free or at a discount. This behavior is ridiculous, the party doesn't cost any less than it did at 11pm and if you want something for nothing, why do you go somewhere that has a cover? I can't speak for Hexa-5 productions but I personally would have charged full door price. -Do you go to Habs games during the third period and demand to get in half price or even free? -Do you go to movies 20 minutes before the end and expect to pay less for your ticket? -Do you go to a restaurant and order a half eaten chicken breast with a half side of used salad for half price? So why would you go to a rave when it's almost over and expect to pay less, you're just causing more of a headache for the promoter and not even offering to fully reimburse them for their extra trouble of having to tell you you're an idiot for showing up so late and expecting special treatment. this isn't my policy, just my opinion... I think people vastly underestimate what these parties cost an too often make fools of themselves for trying to haggle their way in... BWAAAAHAAAHAAHA!!!! Oh my god. I actually laughed really fucking hard while reading this. And I seriously agree! Who the fuck do you think you are when you come to a party expecting to get in for free at 5:30 in the morning? Especially when DJs from another city are playing all night. Anyways, I let people in for half price, and that's already more than a fair deal. At 5:30 in the morning, 2 and a half hours left, that's what? 2 or 3 djs still playing. Don't like the door price? Should have bought a ticket or not even showed up at all! Je trouve que payer pour ecouter du spy c'est loouche anyway .. ca m'apprendra a partir d'un super party d&b et dubstep pour me pointer ds un party ramdom a coté de chez moi parceque on a trouver du cash a terre pis on feel pour le depenser pour faire le party :P ensuite le 3/4 des party sont gratuit rendu le matin ... mais bon je sais bien se que ca coute faire un party et puis c'est beaucoup plus important le profit qu'etre sympatique dans la vie n'est pas?? anyway avoir vraiment voulu rentrer gratuit je sais bien ou sont les autres portes lol!! reste que je me plaint .. j'ai pas aimer, ni l,attitude du monde a la porte, ni la musique, ni la vibe!! et j'ai foutu le camps en courant d'ailleurs! anyway ... j'sais pas trop pour les film, ni les canadiens .. j'ai jamais essayer d'aller me pointer a la fin d'une game ni d'un film ... faut etre un peu debile pour ca non?? mais bon dans les shows, les raves, certains bars, certaines soirees ben ya des gens assez intelligent pour se dire que quand tu a manquer les 9/10 ben c'est normal de pas te faire payer... so en general c'est juste les gens gentil et aimable qui reflechisse comme ca (ex dave, melo,<3 ) |

You get what you pay for, remember that next time you try to get something for free... But hey I'd love to know where you other promoters get your free 300+ capacity venues, killers sound systems, immersive deco, professional flyers, selection of drinks, good DJs, etc... let me in on the big secret and I'll throw free parties too! |

| Coolness: 248460 | i lost 200 $ for my b-day bash with a dj from Boston.5 fucking box at the door.and when Hexa 5,her girlfriend noah ,Antonino etc.. went at 3h30-4h00 i let them enter for free ... i wanted to stop the door for 2 reasons: 1st the headliner already played 2nd cuz i wanted the guy at the door to party with us as well.Psy trance aren't supposed to be the most *PLUR* people around?...not so sure anymore! heh
For the record all parties before you weren't even raving kids were free after a certain hour. it was like that since i start raving i guess now things changed a lot... it's all about the money not the fun |
