unfortunately they're the new "big thing" like pendulum, so they'll probably cost a small fortune to book.. (and that's not even going into the 'controversy' that's going on about them using pre-pitched CDs and not really mixing..) |

| yup, I love that tune! I might bust it out for Festivus.. still torn on what to play.. So far all my sets have had two halves; first one I started with hard acid and then went into DnB, 2nd one I went from trancy DnB to hard DnB... I think I might do the acid switchup again.... |

| Teebee is ok in that he's got a good track selection, but he's also outright admited that any time he gets new tracks to play out, the first thing he does is edits them in Ableton so that the intro and drop are exactly the length that he wants, and he pre-pitches all his tunes to 172...
On the plus side, though, he occasionally scratches, which works out well if he doesn't need to concentrate on mixing...
John B does the same thing.. all his tracks are produced at 174 and any tracks he gets, he pre-pitches to 174 so he can get totally drunk at a gig and not have to worry about doing much more than not passing out in the booth mid-set... |

| ..and that's not even getting into Andy C having the same thing done, but with dub plates that he puts a legit tune sticker on so that he looks like he's using the same tunes you and me would get to do his 3-deck mixes..
Dieselboy requests CDJ-1000s to play on because the CDJ 1000 can store info like cue points and track BPMs on a memory card, so he just shows up at the gig, pops in his memory card, and he doesn't need to cue or really beatmatch, he can just change the pitch slider until the BPMs line up.. |
