wow how retarded

everyone is fucking sad

put your fucking shoes on and get back to work

im glad they stop giving her money, this is clearly abusing of the system

and im super sick of those people, not "able to work" because they are depress

i know depression can be hard sometime, but something that I also know is that staying home and crying how depress you are won't do any good

ah geez, revolting!
I'm feeling kiss me, im shitface right now..

I understand your point but what if she really is in depression? You're the one who mentionned that staying home and crying about how depress you are won't do any good.
What if she really wanted to change her mind and try to have a good time for once? Have you ever had a real nervous break down or depression? I doubt because you wouldn't keep that "put your fucking shoes on and get back to work" attitude.

Anyhow it's juss'a'jibh and she can find another one if she's not in depression, otherwise, it really blows for her.

yeah i know, my mom have been in depression almost all her entire life, being on medication and seing doctor etc etc, and she never ever stop working. she took some vacation, 1 month or 2, but being on the insurance for a year and more, just to cry on her facebook, no

the problem with depression, is that people use it too easily

when i say everyone is sad, i meant that, everyone have downs, sometimes small ones and sometimes bigger ones. doesn't mean you can call it depression, ask for insurance, and stay home crying

i've been personnaly sad more than half my life, i've been in depression like half the teenager here, never ask people to pay me to stay home nonetheless

i agree, some really need some time to cure their problem and all

but the way i read that news, i felt it was abusing and ridiculous

maybe i overeacted, i just keep hearing stupid story like that of people abusing of insurance, bien être sociale etc

didn't meant any offense

and since yeah i've been "depress" at some point myself

that's why i take the right to say "put your shoes one and go back to work"

because i know exactly that staying home didn't help anyone, and i never stop going to school or work because life was a bitch at this time

Same here! Idleness is mother of a lot of torments and I tried to keep myself very active in order not to fall into the vicious circle of depression, but let's not forget that humans needs distraction once in a while. Sorry if I went a bit overboad with the "put your shoes one and go back to work".

Also, let's not forget that insurrance cie are almost as crooked as the mafia's protection racket: " Pay us a lil' sumtin'sumtin' every months so shit doesn't happen to you" as they look for any reasons to pull the plug on you when you need their "help". Maybe that's why I felt the need to reply to this post.

:)

you are right about insurance, i should not see it like people abusing of bien etre social, we do pay for that and most of us will pay for that all their life almost for nothing

i guess we can srew them a little too once in a while ;)

People will do a lot of stuff for free money... I don't think she should get her benefits either. Most people who I know who say they are depressed really are not. And they are probably depressed because they aren't doing anything with their lives.

That's true, free money... Too many people want's that.

The lady just stay away from job a year and half...
C'mon if she did'nt get back since that long, she better to stop leaving at all.

A lot of people can be depress but many of them will continu working at the same time and try to fix their depression themselve...

That much quantity of persons who work's with pain, depression and many other disease need more day off than many other fake one's who get "year" off...
I'm feeling none right now..

I've seen this on the telly a few days ago. Some show on TVA was discussing this particular case and since it's sort of open mic, people were sending e-mails and calling in saying how retarded her employer was and such.

Although I do admit you HAVE to get out when you're depressed instead of staying home and being suicidal, I have no pity for her getting caught. Why ? Because the same show featured a lot of idiots complaining about how Facebook screwed them over and how anyone has access to their pics and such.

See, this is the kind of people I deal with on a daily basis. Idiots who don't bother READING THE F**KING MANUAL and then come complaining that said product doesn't work or is inapporpriate for their needs.

If these people spent half as much time googling "HOW TO PREVENT EVERYONE FROM SEEING PICTURES OF ME FLASHING MY BOOBS AT EVERY PARTY" instead of complaining and whining about it, maybe they'd figure out that you can change security settings in Facebook to allow pictures to only be seen by FRIENDS and not the entire world.

And some of these people even go as far as adding their employers as Friends.

Maybe it's a mental issue, not depression that's the problem.

this can be tricky...
you're boss want's to add to his friends - ignore -
How do you explain it to him?

"Sorry dude, I have picture of me doing coke off the nipples of 3 hookers" probably won't make you a trustworthy employee.

"I don't want to be your friend since we are only working together" could hurt is feelings... and next bad thing you do you're in shit

I mean there is no good way to tell your boss to stay out your private life I think :S

i don't agree

a good boss should not even expect to enter his employee private life

so if you explain it to him that you don't find that profesionnal, and should understand that!
Update » Daf wrote on Thu Nov 26, 2009 @ 12:22pm
but though i agree that not alot are professionnal and because of that

react badly

and i think it's a good thing for you, it means you need a new boss anyway

Shindy, when you ignore someone on Facebook, they don't get a message saying "F**kface doesn't want to be friends with you. Then again, who can blame him, lame-o."

If my employers tried to add me, I'd ignore and keep saying to them that "I'm sorry, I didn't get your request. I swear I didn't".

And if your employer still bitches, just reply "I'm sorry but I work for a company that does ____________ , I'm not sure how a social networking website is an acceptable tool in our work ethics".

And again, if they say "well, can't you add me just as a friend then ?", I'd respectfully decline saying "I'm sorry, as much as I like you, I only have friends and family members on there. No one from work is on my Friends list".

After ALL THAT, if employer still gives you shit for that, get a new job.

I'll be damned if I give my employer the dagger they'll backstab me with.

I've made friends with co-workers at previous jobs. One particular one backstabbed me for a job I applied for.

I vowed NEVER FUCKING AGAIN.
