So basically you're only a good dj when you play the same old shit and take requests, if you dont you're arrogant and an asshole

well they pay to hear your music, you get paid to spin and they are the customers, even if there is a cover or not, they pay in the price of their drinks.

that is a problems in Quebec city IMO because most of the djs plays for THEMSELVES only, they look at you strange when you have a request, just a verry polite suggestion. thats sucks and that kill the electronic music scene.

but I still don't agree for the punch you received, that guy is certainly an asshole who thinks hes the master of the bar.

Incidentally buying a drink in a bar does not entitle you to decide what music gets played, thats just a bullshit reasoning people give djs to order them around...

All you bascially did was pay money for a beverage in a private establishment, thats all.

I mean you wouldn't go into Mc Donalds and tell them to change the music just cause you bought a Big Mac would you? ;)

Combien de fois on me l'a demandé celle là.

The circle is complete.

It only got a bad stigma because it was like one of those tunes everyone requested back in the day, became too "popular" for it own good

Although I haven't heard it that much in the clubs in a while, would be a great tune to ressurect for new years eve ;)

There's a pretty good breaks remix/re-edit of it, I think it's on or by Cut & Run, called Blade: Bass in the Place.. I've used it a few times in a transition going from a DnB tune with a breaks breakdown, that tune, then some hard acid..
