my first "rave" despite being highly commercial on an international scale... it was pretty huge and well organised (eg. 8$ water bottles) Biz Markie (YEAH!), Canibus and the Pharcyde (YEAH!)didn't even show up. despite being disapointed, being a backpacker in an original Ecko hoodie back then, i was still kinda overwhelmed by everthing happening around me. it was also the first and the last time i was tempted to try marijuana; which i didnt when my buddy who had the joint told me i didn't need it... so that night was sort of a touchStone event for me. keep the thread alive...  Coolness: 105765 | My first party was Sync! at the SAT, jast June 21st. It was actually my after prom where i ditched ALL my fellow high school colleagues and went out to the SAT to celebrate without them. I was accompanied by my good friend Claudine and her girlfriend at the time, Agatha.
It featured O1ek, Nuclear Ramjet and Paratonerf. AMAZING! It lasted til 3, but that night still hasnt been beat by any party. Invasion is the only one that comes close, but nothing will ever beat my first party. |

3 rooms ; psy-trance (they were still playing dats instead of cd's at that time, Jeff Mk Ultra was still an out-of-town guest ) Hardcore ; Manu Le Malin kicked ass ! Can't remember the 3rd one....i wasn't into electronic music yet ... And i was sober ..and i was freaked because alot of people were making love everywhere .. And i was partying with GO Brian , that was just before he started spinning... He had an awesome hat i remember .... Sweet memories ... |

 Coolness: 84980 | My first "rave" was Orbit in 2000 I had a good time but I didn't really go to raves for a long time after 'cause my friends didn't go to raves and they still don't just clouds.
I remember finding Bublecore cheesy and really likeing the Drum and Bass Mc's, but I got tierd and people were really cracked out. All I had were some caffien pills and a joint. |

 Coolness: 182505 | my first party was in da jungle 7.. last august... its the one party i am not soon to forget...i ent with my friends caro tracy karine and zach.. we saw alex and dan there.. and they first introduced met to speed.. and the world of drugs... ( :( ) i took a power peach.. ( eww) i remember seeing seb and jamie and guillaume there and not knowing who they were.. only knowing that they were djs... and thats it.. felt so lost.. and as time passed i got used to it.. i had o lie to my parents saying i was sleeping at a friends to be able to go out.. ( i dont anymore my dad knows about raving and everything that goes with it) i started out wih jungle and dnb parties.. and i plan to end it that way! the vibe was amzing. so many ppl. and the gave out fruit..!!! yummm!!1 |

my first party was this or that, '94 (95?) right behind that space we used on jean talon for iDJ #? (when the cops came and we moved it to rachel) Grooverider was the headliner (in the main room which i think was techno at the time), the rest is history... i find it very cool that some peoples first party was an iDJ, thats something thats gonna stay with me forever... niceup! |

 Coolness: 102180 | My first party was Cicrle 2 in 97 or 98. My friend was doing a live set and Junk Project too (wow!!!) It was at the Red Light cause the place was busted the day before the party. Great party (except it was F____n hot like last IDJ lol). |

| Coolness: 63880 | was some rave in edmonton in the old strathcona bus barns in '95.
i hated the music, was freaked out by the people making out and more in the chill room, was given a plastic smiley face ring by some guy in a dinosaur suit, had a moment of hysterical laughter with my best friend over labello lip balm. i have no idea what kind of music it was or it's name. but i had a great time and the memories are still really vivid 8 years later. |
