I'm feeling psy-minded right now..

a fire broke into a noranda copper facility , and was part of the cleaning theam :

cleanned the carbon off the ceiling of a noranda copper shop in PAT : with FLUORIDRIC ACID. (NO SHIT)

and the protective equipment wasnt enought for manipulating this so had eyes & skin burn , since fluoridric vapours might go up, it will come down as liquid on you, anywasy also the scafoldings were 6 to 7 story high (witch is illegal in a middle if not hanged from somewhere and they werent) and so as we were : no ropes to tie ourselves to prevent from falling down.

was a 3 day contract work with " THOMSON TREMBLAY " fuck them , if you ever want a referal for a job and want to stay alive , dont go with subcontrat work

sorry was 6 to 8 scaffoldings hight : we were working on a plank thats taller than most triplex im mtl. not tied up... the fuckers cant imagine nobody fell down : we werent protected by insurance anyways and im shure most ppl there were so in dire need of cash , we did miracles together , but non the less , thoses sub contract are fucking illegal/dangerous.
Update » cutterhead wrote on Mon Jun 22, 2009 @ 1:49pm
also worked at night in an esso in PAT . and if someone drive off with the gas , i had to pay for it. ( 6 am , at the corner st-jean baptiste & sherbrooke , busiest place ever in pat, about 40 ppl wanted gas at same time , i made them payed in advance so not to pay for them : result hearing bullshit all around from costomers and my boss.)

and i have a history of about 70 differnt job in the last 12 years, all did stuff crazyer than other

this is why i run my buisnesss now , might not be rich , but at least im not encouraging more havoc and respect/honesty now surrounds me.
I'm feeling tarfu right now..

I only work with subcontracts, 3 months, 2 days, a year... etc...Quantum...
I met so many ppl and Its nice to always change.
At the same time Im sure to always get paied every week, and sometimes they have long term contracts.

It just depends in what, I am in administration.

Plus! I made so many contacts that got me the job I was dreaming for, with first natives, which I will start soon soon sooon
But....idk, the jobs that I hated most were in telemarketing, which I never got with subcontrat work.

i mean field work , anyhow i dont like ppl chewing the pie i worked for. ( esp when they take more than me. )

but good for you if it works out, just never try this in a warehouse, see above note.

after 6 story high scaffold it needs to be attached to a structure, whitch they didnt , they could have been deaths.

i also did telecom subcontracts , witch is pretty stupid to do when you can get about 100% to 150% more if you go straight with the hiring compagny.

lol , not to save money , to give themselves a reason for ppl to dumb to realise they can get a better salary. your literally giving half of your salary in some place , for what ? giving them your name ? refeeral ? and thats a justification to rip off a kid that should earn 25 $ an hour and instead has a hard time earning 10$ /h . thoses ppl would kill your grand mother if that would give them 50% off their next becel tub of margarine.

Idk supposly that they save money because they aren't paying a human ressource department, and since they don't pay you they have less complications with the payrolls. But pay 25/h when you could pay 14....idk....it's ridiculous lol.

they dont have to pay for training, they dont have to pay for computers/headsets, supervisors, rent a place.. they save lot of money, but they have less control over quality of services given, but right now, which compagny gives a shit about the quality of the service they give? lol

how much money do they save when they pay the agency 25/h and the agency pays me 15/h for doing reception....I mean, in reception the agency dosen`t provide anything except the employee...anyways...there's good and bad depending what your looking for

i worked at a meat department, we would chop up slabs of meat that reminded me of a human torso to make steaks, the leftover meat and skin was put into a meat grinder to make hamburger the meat quivered and made a disgusting suction noise as it was ground up. The bone barrels were full of maggots and the smell was horrible. we would also grind up frozen chunks of meat in a machine that was like a wood chipper. It was like a morgue.

^ i agree with the metaphor , thou i would prefer working a morgue , at least its not for human consumption afterwards. meat processing places always reminds me of texas chainsaw massacre .

and i dont think it falls in "happy jobs" category . i'm sorry for you, you had to freeze your ass in a refregirator on that account. :C
