problem w/ bar nights is not just the 3am thing, it's the 18+ thing. Well for me and all other out-of-towners, it is. Driving or taking a ride to montreal for the day, party all night and leave in the morning still makes sense when you need your fix. But ending up in the street at 3am just won't do it. Fuck, there was a time not-so-long ago where we'd have at least one quality part per month, or every two weeks, with several smaller ones almost every week-end. Now looking at the calendar, I can't find anything worth the trip until 3 months down. Teh raev since is died :( |

 Coolness: 113380 | I think I already said this is the review section but I just wanna post this here as well. I was at Rewire and was helping Vince and Nathan work the bar and from what I saw THE NIGHT WAS A SUCCESS! Yes there were some some things that happened that probably could have gone better (the sound not having to get turned down, the cold, blah blah blah) but the night ROCKED! I couldn't stop dancing behind the bar and people who came to buy water had HUGE smiles on their faces :D When I spoke to a few of them they said they were having an awesome time and then skipped off to go dance more.
It's unfortunate that vince and nathan lost cash on the party, but that's a gamble that a promoter takes when throwing a large event with multiple headliners. All I can say from what I saw is people had a blast, were dancing well into the morning hours, and left the event smiling :) SEE YOU ALL AT REWIRE 5.5!!!! |
