I like rough sex in general but sometimes I feel like soft. I'm sexually secure, completely, and have *no shame* in saying that I am a submissive. I wasn't taught to like that (not that I don't like being taught), this is just what I have always liked - since I was a very very little girl when I started getting sexual thoughts. I'm an independently minded person, and the type of sex I like has nothing to do with that. If I was with a non-male though, I'm not sub. I think that's interesting. I wonder what the feminists have to say about that? I've know sexually submissive guys, too, and they weren't weak people at all, they were very intelligent and secure with themselves, just like the doms/neutrals. I wonder what the feminists would have to say about GUYS who like to give up control? As an artist who writes songs about world issues sometimes, it's really hard for me to play those songs because I feel like I'm going to be judged as a "feminist" for having anything to say about the world, whatever it means. Guys are lucky in that sense, that they can comment on world events or gain positions of power without being associated with a term like "feminism" that has negative connotations. I'm just a person, dammit :P |

there;s 3 major waves and many theories deriving from feminism. it would be really too long to resume that here... but anyway.. don't be afraid to say that you are feminist b/c the term have a bad reputation. it's so easy for some to label feminists as a bunch of lesbo frustrated and angry... instead of looking at social issues who still persist even in our good ol' western societies! i'll say loud and as many times w/out shame that i am a feminist and i'll be until i die or that all women on this planet have equal rights and shit.... which would surprised me if that happen be4 i die. in a macro point of view i'm still a firm believer of the conflict theory. luckily, time as shown that sometimes things can change but there's still a lot of works to do.. ps: btw men who are feminists are the most attractive, intelligent and the one who are probably the best sexually. you know b/c i just hated to have to throw someone out at 2am b/c i can't stand their conversation. bhahahaha We were discussing sexuality today in class and feminist say that the only reason women like rough sex is because they are taught by men to like it rough.
