| For december, [ afterhour..ca ] will become a "minimal" version of [ rave.ca ] It will have a totally different design and will feature a minimal feature set. This will be "calendar", "images", "forum", "locations" and "profiles"... There will not be member profiles, or any of the extra fluff that confuse some people.
If you have any ideas for the site let me know as I will start working on it starting in November... I expect to have a beta online by December, and the real site go online by January. The sites will share the same database structure and information.
[ Rave.ca ] will be the complex site, [ afterhour..ca ] will become the simple site. |

| Trolls are everywhere on the internet and I don't mind them as long as they are not super spamming the board, and I don't see anyone right now who is... But the option for people to ban people will come very soon. I have some other things I'm fixing up now like "add lyrics" and some other errors... |

| For looking for events, this site will be better because the calendar starts at the current day, it lists everything in an each format which is sorted by location name... No fluff... The [ rave.ca ] system is much more advanced though. Anyways it's only day one... There will be a lot of changes... Suggestions are welcomed. |

Well, in many cases event locations or specifications are added in comments, not on the event itself. Since the events in afterhour seem to be simple redirections from those here, I suggest you include something here, a warning of sorts, while creating an event. A reminded that only the stuff added in the event section is shown on afterhour, not the comments.
Or something else. For instance, Black Light 4 does not show the location of the event on [ Afterhour.ca ] If the user needs to go to [ rave.ca ] for the information... what's the point of [ Afterhour.ca ] |

| The point is to create a simple calendar without all the fluff from [ rave.ca ] A lot of people think that [ rave.ca ] is too complicated and when they come to the site for the first time they don't know where to go... [ Afterhour.ca ] will be a site where you don't need a login account... It's just for simple event information...
[ Pinlounge.com ] will be for buying pins only...
[ Hyperbass.com ] will feature music from the site and such...
[ Psycholab.org ] could feature bongs and pipes for sale...
Everything will be available on [ rave.ca ] but a lot of people have asked for simple sites which deal in only one thing... The people who want the calendar only and don't care about other things can use [ afterhour.ca ] because there is no fluff there... |
